“You won’t find a better equipped cottage that this!” What a great cottage in a superb spot in this gorgeous little village by the sea.
The cottage truely has everything that you could wish for to make you and your pooch feel at home. TVs, CDs, books, magazines and of course WiFi so if the weather is a bit unpredictable then there is still loads to keep you entertained.
There is also the pub next door and cafe across the road so you don’t have to go far for food and drink if you don’t want to use the self catering facilities in the cottage.
The area is beautiful and the beaches are fantastic. Turn left on the beach for a nice walk to Seahouses or right to Low Newton by the Sea where the Ship Inn with it’s own brewery awaits to refresh you.
So much to see and do in this area and all the literature is available in the cottage to give you a few pointers.
Finally I must point out how comfortable the massive bed was in the main bedroom - you rarely get one as good as this in this kind of accommodation.
Julie is one fantastic host and her communications are both quick and informative.
Many thanks for a great few days in your lovely cottage Julie - we only wished we could have stayed longer.

“A comfortable base for exploring a very beautiful area.” A warm welcome with beverages and cake. The cottage was clean with lots of bedlinen and towels provided. A safe enclosed garden overlooking fields. Entertained by the nesting swallows under the patio roof.
“Lovely Cottage & greta holiday” Great accommodation with 3 big bedrooms and great public areas too. Log burning stoves in lounge and day room – not used as it was too warm but will use at New Year when we are back again. Really up-to-date kitchen and day room and lovely back garden perfect for sitting in & barbequing (weather permitting) and enclosed for dogs.
We had a lovely week enjoying the delights of Northumberland with endless beaches and interesting places to visit.
I have already recommended it to a friend.
Thanks you Tracy.
