“Excellent stay - location, spacious, comfort and cleanliness ...all good” I and my husband stayed at this 3-bedroom apartment for 4 nights in Oct, it's clean, very spacious, comfortable furnishing, a well equipped and well stocked (including breakfast cereal, wine, beer, Coke, olive oil, spices and herbs, etc., everything you need to cook a meal) kitchen, complete utensils, toilet paper, paper towels, and whatever you need for everyday living. The washer and dryer was a godsend, especially if you are a light traveler like us. Unlike most self-catering apartments, this one stocks everything you need and then some. The apartment is located on a well traffic street, but because of the double doors system, you can't hear a thing from the street. It's amazingly quiet. It is located 1 1/2 block from Sagrada Familia and the metro, so it is super convenient to go places and visit the infamous church. Neighborhood is residential and is very safe. We walked to take the metro 4:45 a.m. and we felt quite safe. There is a supermarket around the corner and another one across the street, open at 9 a.m. There is a butcher shop close by but I can't remember which direction or on what street - sorry! Eateries are all over, you won't get hungry. If you planned to stay here for several days, you definitely would want to get the T-10 metro card, much better value than singles. About 8 blocks away, very easy walking and safe, is a restaurant called GELONCH, recommended by Lonely Planet, offers excellent Michelin-star quality food with non Michelin-star price. You owe it to yourself to try it if you are in Barcelona. Oh, I forgot to mention the host, Ester. I got a couple traveling problems and she helped me out in a timely manner. Thank you, Ester. Thank you for providing comfort and shelter to travelers like us.

“Authentic and charming spanish style (big) house” My first impression of the area where this house is located was that it was like Hollywood Hills (California) just the spanish way. I was looking for a relaxing place but close to Barcelona. Its important for me that I can bring my dog and go for beautiful walks on my vacation. This is possible here. I felt at home especially because I/we got a warm greeting from the house owner Christina. Christina seems like a very easy-going person who made me feel very relax, comfortable and welcome - she was helpful with all kinds of things like where to get organic produce and find good walks with my beloved four legged friend. The house is clean and feel very homey and cosy. There is a BIG kitchen in the shady area of the house with a big round table in the middle and a door right out to a beautiful patio with a big Mulberry three (ate a lot of them while I was there) very cosy spanish style (very much how I dream of spain). A living room with two couches downstairs an a room with a double bed and upstairs a bright area with three rooms (two of the rooms goes out to big a balcony). The house is surrounded with garden and different leveled balconies and the place is airy so it wont get too hot. Outside there is shady places to take a nab and sunny places to tan...over all - this is a house where bigger families can stay with out getting on each others nerves easily. There is a great park near (Collserola Park). Train to Barcelona just a few minutes walk away (takes 15-20 min ride to get to Barcelona). What I look for en a vacation rental: I want cleanness but not a chemical bomb (this place didn't smell of chlorine like some hotels). I want privacy and not a owner who comes running by or I feel kept under observation (there was a phone in the house you could call Christina - perfect for me). I want to feel welcome (I did). I want charm and authentic over luxury tourism (it was indeed). Every thing I looked for was here. Note: I will say if you're coming straight from the airport its easier to take the train than car - if you do come by car make sure you have a good GPS and that you tell Christina to give you good information about how to find the place. Parking is not a problem.

“Perfect location” The location is amazing and the apartment is clean and comfortable. Pickup shuttle made our trip much more pleasant, and Carlos was really professional, helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!
