Luxury Beach Resort Penthouse
Peaceful and relaxing

A lovely remote quiet resort. All was kept clean and neat despite more building going on. The pool was beautiful as was small beach, we often had them to ourselves! The gym too was well equipped and very accessible. We would recommend hiring a car as it's several kilometer to nearest shop/ restaurant. If you like it lively this is not for you, but the people there were very friendly and welcoming and we spent several evenings at Beached ( the complex's bar) which was very enjoyable. The apartment was spacious and well equipped though a full length mirror would be good. The air conditioning was very welcome. John was helpful in suggesting local car hire, restaurants, nearest shops, directions etc he also provided a good selection of DVD s. Thank you we has a lovely 2 weeks and will be returning.see more
luxury one bedroom, sleeps 4
Amazing place

I stayed here with my two teenage children in March this year. The development is really new and well kept with a number of pools with sea views. The apartment was lovely, all very new and modern. The washer and dishwasher came in really useful with two teenagers. All the furniture is very upmarket and brand-new! The outside garden was lovely and really got the sun until around 2pm, the garden has a massive day bed, sunbeds, bbq and a really nice table and chairs! Its just fab! The local bars and restaurants are fantastic value for money, a main meal with soft drinks costing less than £20 for all three of us. We used the main supermarket about 10 mins away and it is about 1/3 the price of home. We went to the cinema in Famusgta and found out it had bowling/cinema/ fast food places as well as lots of bars and restaurants. I was unsure about staying in the north, however it was such a lovely place and so much cheaper than the south for everything I will never be staying in the south again! I got a taxi to and from Larnaca airport and this cost £40 each way, I arranged this with the owner directly. I also hired a car and this cost £15 a day and the car hire place was next to apartment. I would recommend getting a hire car as its very good value and you drive on the same side of the road as the UK so all very easy.see more
Luxury 3 bedroom apartment with private pool
A perfect retreat

Thalassa Beach Resort itself was perfect for us, within a minutes walk your on your own private beach where we had many a gentle morning or evening stroll, paddle or swim in the crystal clear, shallow, warm sea (and if you're lucky like us, be joined by a huge turtle) or relax on a sunbed out on the jetty - my favourite place - so peaceful! The pool is amazing; too big to get into one photograph and you can have one or all of the little coves to yourself, the water is warm and not too deep and you have everything to hand, bar, shower, toilets, playground for the younger and crazy golf for older children (and Dad!) You really don't have to head out for the day, everything is on the doorstep. The apartment is just like home from home and Martin and his wife have thought of and provided everything you need for your stay. It easily accommodated 5 adults yet still had a cosy and homely feel. Everything is maintained to high standard. We spent most evenings watching the sunset on the balcony and raising a glass to the hundreds of stars that can be seen from an unpolluted night sky. There are plenty of local attractions within an hour or so's drive; there's the cities of Famagusta with its castle walls, the pretty harbour at Kyrenia, vibrant & busy Nocosia, or if you're looking for a bit of history, Salamis ruins and Cantara Castle are well worth a visit, as is a drive along the tip of the pan handle to Golden Beach to see the local wild donkeys. We loved every moment of our holiday at Thalassa and would definately recommend it and consider staying again if we decided to holiday again in Cyprus.see more
Luxury Cyprus beach resort
A quiet place to relax and unwind

We thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks in North Cyprus, staying at Kevin's apartment and I would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet and 'away from it all' kind of a holiday. The apartment itself is very nice. Kevin has provided everything you could possibly need and has clearly gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that it feels like a home away from home. We loved the terrace and the b-b-q opportunities there; we lived on the balcony, sundowners being a essential part of the routine. The apartment has plenty of sheets, towels, kitchen ware (although it might benefit from one more slightly larger saucepan. That would be the only observation I could make; that's how complete Kevin has furnished the apartment); you really couldn't expect more. The complex of Thalassa Beach is excellent. My kids loved the pool; my thirteen-year-old loved the continual Wi-Fi access; it felt safe and contained and provided enough distraction for her and my eleven-year-old son. You have to accept that you are 30 mins drive from a supermarket, restaurants and a town. However, you simply make sure that you stock up for a few days at a time. Semih, the chef for the on-site restaurant is great - a super cook and we gave up finding other places to go because his food is so good and far more reasonably priced than the restaurants 30 minutes drive away. And we could have a drink without worrying about the car. Megan (in the office) was always very helpful, sorting out the one or two little issues we had on arrival. North Cyprus is slow and quiet and a little behind Turkey. I know Turkey very well and North Cyprus felt different; different in a good way. With speed cameras everywhere, it takes a while to get to places; you are forced to slow down - probably a good thing! But trips up the peninsula are well worth it, as are trips to the various castles and monasteries. We had a lovely day in Nicosia, crossing the border on foot. Famagusta is fab; Girne too. Thalassa Beach is not for you if you are in search of night clubs, rows of restaurants and English pubs. But if you are in need of time away from the world, a slower pace of life and only the sound of cicadas to interrupt the silence, you'll love Thalassa Beach Resort.see more
