“A great house in a great setting.” Grandparents, parents and 3 young children all had a fantastic holiday. The house was very comfortable with lots of room for the children to play and relaxing space for the adults. We loved eating in the dining room with its scenic views and also the landing room and balcony - it was a joy to watch the ever changing weather patterns especially with a glass of wine in the evening! The children enjoyed the garden and the walks to the jetty for exploring.the loch shore and deer watching in the evening. We were all able to explore the are - running, walking, sightseeing - a very beautiful area.

“Wonderful House, Fabulous Location” Having stayed at Balinakill with friends, I couldn't recommend it highly enough. It has all the character you would want - from wood panelling, open fires, and its own bar, to state of the art kitchen and entertainment facilities. Despite its size and scale it is comfortable, warm and cheery whatever the weather, and a great place to return to after a bracing walk to the nearby deserted beach. Distractions can be found in Tarbert, a short drive away, but the real attraction is the house itsself.

“Spacious and comfortable, superb location with stunning views” My husband and I stayed 7 nights at Seabright Holiday Apartments with my sister and her 10 year old for a reunion and break. We arrived with a warm welcome of fresh fruit, fresh pastries and a lovely bottle of wine (we needed the wine after our long day of travelling). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the ground floor apartment is just lovely, modern and and very clean. All 3 bedrooms had ensuite bathrooms for privacy which I loved having, the kitchen was modern with everything you would expect to find. My favourite room where we spent our afternoons and evenings was the living room, so comfy and cosy. The views from the large bay window were spectacular, a very idyllic room, especially on those cold afternoons. The location suited us also, only a afew minutes walk to the centre of town, we also loved the accessibility of the walks nearby, especially Benmore gardens where we visited twice, such a beautiful place to go for walks, I highly recommend a visit. There is so much more to do in this region, I cant wait to return. Thank you Argyll Self Catering Holidays for your recommendation.

“Excellent, beautiful, calm and tranquil and beautiful house and surroundings” Amazing cottage, excellent build and quality and the most serene and calming surroundings. Just what was needed. Clean, modern and well planned / thought out layout. Couple of local restaurants / highly recommended fish and chip shop in a campsite makes things easier if you fancy a night off from cooking also. Amazing time and would love to come back.
