“5 Star property in a 5 star location” This was our 2nd visit to Fearnach Bay House as a family (2 children 8 & 6) and we can't wait to return! - It is a modern, stylish well equipped property in a beautiful quiet loch side location on the west coast of Scotland. The house is truly 5 star including under floor heating, flat screen TV, wood burning stove and plentiful supply of logs, modern well equipped kitchen and open plan living all decorated to a very high standard. The location is truly special too, set at the side of the loch, complete with its own rowing boat, lots of mountains and tracks to explore on your doorstep and access to a number of lochs to fish in. Finally the exacting service (including catering if you want it) and high quality standards offered by the owners is second to none. Fully recommended.

“Amazing!” I'm just back from my hen weekend which we had in this cabin, it was amazing I couldn't have asked for a better weekend away. The locals were lovely, the wee cafe on site made the best lunch, and the local bar 'social club' was so welcoming! The bar man was excellent and I'm impressed with how well he coped with 7 crazy girls on a hen! John the owner of the cabin was brand new, the snow began to fall while we were out at the social club and gave us a lift back to the cabin. The cabin it's self was maintained very well and so cosy, view of the loch gives it that nice touch espeically when in the hot tub! Was so sad to leave, but I will definitely be back after my wedding! Best weekend away thank you John and bar man Martin! 5 stars for this lovely little village *****

“Quiet peaceful home from home with added panache” Mountain View was set in the most idyllic location. Very peaceful and entirely what the doctor ordered for a break to celebrate retirement. The surrounding views of Loch Etive and Ben Cruachan were awe inspiring. Even the local hoodlums were fun (the chickens) Fiona and Ian, the owners, whilst on site were completely unobtrusive.

“Excellent location” We have visited South Lodge on and off over a number of years and we absolutely love the area. At our last visit, we saw some considerable improvements with a newly fitted kitchen and bathroom and this did help to keep the house warmer. The only downside for us is that the property can be very cold in winter and the electricity charge to keep the house warm can be quite expensive. We tried to keep this down by using the open fire, however, we did actually leave slightly earlier than planned because of the cold. Saying that, if the owners improved the draft proofing at the front of the house particularly the main entrance and possibly installed some form of double/secondary glazing, we think this would improve the property more and we would definitely stay again. We love the fact that you can step out of the door straight into delightful walks over the estate. We really do love this area and would recommend staying on the Ederline Estate.
