“Superb Property, and perfect for all ages” We visited this property in April in a large, mixed ages, family group.this Villa is fantastic, and perfect for all, regardless of age and interests. We are retired and often visit in the Spring, the weather is lovely and perfect for swimming in the beautiful heated pool, cycling, walking and visiting the many interesting villages,.Also for wine tasting expeditions!We have stayed in this Villa, and also La Grange several times over the years as we love this area and the Villas are so superbly equipped that it is not necessary to look elsewhere! There are plenty of indoors and outdoors spaces for large family groups to find a quiet corner to chill, read, etc.The pool and pool terraces are outstanding. Lots of restaurants to try, worthy of mention, Madame Moutiers,Tour des Vents, Ma Maison,Chateau de Vigiers, and, definitely for families, The Pizzeria in Eymet Square. Markets somewhere every day!Eymet on Thursdays excellent. All in all, an excellent place for a holiday.

“Les Cerisiers is a cosy romantic cottage, just outside of Monpazier and set in the beautiful Dordogne countryside.” Les Cerisier is a delightful cottage, cosy & comfortable, relaxing & romantic, set in beautiful grounds with walnut and cherry trees. The cottage was superbly equipped and well maintained, with excellent service from English housekeepers nearby. It is within walking distance of Monpazier, an historic, well-preserved fortified village, with every convenience and amenity you could desire or need. There were many attractions nearby with historic chateaux and beautiful old villages to explore. Amazing restaurants, and the River Dordogne only a short distance by car, providing water activities in the warmer months. I would not hesitate to recommend this vacation rental. Kerry Scott Perth WA

“A gem of a holiday cottage.” We had high expectations of this holiday cottage from the description and previous reviews. Those expectations were exceeded in every respect. The cottage is very well appointed and equipped with quality linens, utensils and tableware. The peace and tranquillity of this cosy property with its superb swimming pool in the extensive grounds is unmatched whilst Bergerac with its mediaeval old town is just a few minutes drive. The owners, Rob and Liz, are excellent hosts who are totally unobtrusive yet readily on hand if required. If you are after a totally relaxing break in a stunning location then 'La Petite Maison' is highly recommended. Our two weeks passed far too quickly but we would hope to return in the future.

“Great place for a family holiday!” We have just returned from a week long stay at the house and had a wonderful time. There were 18 of us spanning all ages including three children under 2. The house is comfortable, very tastefully decorated, and well set up to accomodate large groups with areas to disappear in but large enough common areas to fit everyone as well. As the house is new to the rental market there are still some kinks that the owners need to work out but they are minor and the owners were very open to recommendations and I would expect they will be continuously improving the house. The grounds of the house are extensive and we spent the majority of our time hanging out in the yard or having our meals on the balcony overlooking the amazing view at the front of the house. The house is in a very rural setting in Dordogne so you do need to be willing to drive longer distances to get to any larger town or spend your time in very small hamlets. Or like us you can make the most of the house and spend the majority of your time there! We have booked the house for a week next year which is testament to how much we enjoyed it.
