Dales Cottage
Nice Cottage, great place to relax

Just had a really enjoyable 1 week break. The Cottage is well equipped, nice and warm and located within a small Hamlet about 1 mile from Hawes itself. A little welcome pack awaited us which was a nice touch; thanks Deborah! You can walk over the fields to Hawes so missing out the Main Road (A684) although I wouldn't recommend either at night. There are also other numerous walks that start from the front door so leaving the car behind is easily an option. Hawes itself has plenty on offer as do many of the Villages / numerous attractions that are within easy reach by car. Being a keen real ale drinker, The Crown at Hawes and the Farmers Arms in Muker both serve 'Old Peculier'; I challenge you to find a better pint locally! Both serve equally good pub grub at reasonable prices too. This is an excellent value Cottage and is recommended.see more
