“Absolutely magnificent family-friendly home, exceeded our expectations, could not recommend more highly.” The location is amazing for exploring the Isle of Anglesey and Gwynedd. This is a magnificent, beautiful very spacious family-friendly home with all the amenities necessary to more than comfortably host a family of eight. Having travelled from Perth (Australia) we had a wonderful time with our family. The little extra's by the host - Christmas tree and decorations up and a welcoming bottle of cheer added a very personal touch. We couldn't recommend more highly. Thank you Louise for a wonderful experience which met our needs perfectly. We will always have very precious memories of Christmas 2017.

“Everything we had hoped for, and more.” We have just spent a very peaceful and relaxing week at Bodfan with our 4 dogs. The owner lived in the property next door and came to introduce herself on our arrival. She offered any help we might need but was not intrusive. The property itself is a beautiful old farmhouse with a large garden. The adjoining paddock could also be used if needed to exercise the dogs but a day on the many beaches soon sorted them out! The farmhouse itself was extremely well stocked with everything you always leave behind. I would say you would definitely need a car to get around as the property is situated in the centre of the island and the nearest beach is probably 20 mins away. We took coal and wood for the woodburner but it was not needed as it was all provided. If you like walking then you could walk forever and not see a soul. We saw dolphins at the top of the island at Amwych which was a bonus. There are several large stores i.e. Morrisons and Asda about 15 mins drive awaybut Holyhead is not somewhere you would want to visit more than once so stock up for the week and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bodfan....we did and so did our dogs.

“Perfection” Came here with a large group of female friends for a hen party weekend with a difference. No dancing around town in pink fluffy t shirts, the house was chosen for its size and its location and prefect it was on both counts. Wonderful relaxing stay....hope to come back again one day.
