“Lovely apartment” We stayed in this apartment for a week at the beginnig of June, it was lovely and clean, had excellent facilities, was in a lovely setting, and excellent value for money. I would recommend it to anyone.
I have just returned to England after spending 7 weeks in this apartment with my wife. In my opinion it is extremely good value for what you pay, The beds are quite comfy, it has a fully functional ki… More

“Perfect position, Quiet and close enough to walk to bars and resturants.” We know the area well as we had our own apartment for a number of years. But would advise renters they would need a car, for supermarkets etc There any many nice beaches to vis
A lovely apartment that didn't disappoint. Very tidy and comfortable, and being top floor having a private roof space was a nice bonus! Underground parking too! Reliable electrics too (no cutting out when boiling the kettle like I had up the road in Fontana II on a previous visit). Veronica who holds the keys lives in the same block and is really friendly, from showing you round, to being there to help (not that we needed any), and sorting out some WiFi. There's loads of leaflets for places to visit, taxi companies (though you should have your own car), places to eat etc.
Food is unbelievably cheap If you know where to look, there are some real nice places to eat. We went to the Restaurant Alquibla on the main road nr the pharmacy where you can get a menu de dia (menu of the day) for about €14pp, which is a 3 course meal plus a wine/beer/water. Lovely Spanish food. And also a must is The Vestry. A little more money but you won't regret it!
There's many bars and coffee shops in and around the square, both Spanish and English, but the best place we had entertainment was the Hotel Algorfa & Hungarian Restaurant. On Tuesdays they do a quiz with a local DJ, Andy, that was very busy when we went; a great atmosphere. And you dont have to come first to win a prize. Great food there too and a cracking view of the sunset over the mountains. We also did a rock n roll bingo on Saturday night. (And they have the football on too!)
Also a visit to the spa at La Finca Golf Resort is a must. (If u have a spare €20pp).
If u like shopping check out La Zenia Boulevard (nr Torrevieja) and Murcia has 3 of 4 shopping centres all just off the main A7 motorway. There are also markets that pop up on different days in different towns, Guadamar is huge!! Two never ending streets of stalls.
The Guadamar beach (15 min away by car) is stunning but if you eat there, don't eat by the seafront (unless you really want the sea view). You can find much cheaper places on the main road in town. We went to Restaurante Jáen where a lunch Menu a dia was only 9€. …
