Lovely Apartment in Alghero

We really enjoyed staying in Natale's apartment. The location is great, no need for a car, you can walk to some lovely beaches and also catch the beach bus easily if you want to venture to other local beaches. The town is within walking distance of the apartment it takes about 20 mins, but there are also plenty of great restaurants closer to the apartment. We also found all the bits in the apartment to take to the beach really handy (umbrellas, bucket and spade etc). The pool is also great,opens at 10am to 7pm (shuts between 2pm and 4.30pm). Pleasant, clean and well situated apartment, with two balconies!

We were looking for a holiday destination that offered culture, history and beaches which is what took us to Alghero. This apartment is really well placed for the gorgeous Old Town and the harbour and the Lido beach is a 15 minutes walk along the front. Reviews we read before we went said the Lido beech has a certain smell (which it does thanks to rotting seaweed we think), so we spent more time at the beaches further up like Bombarde, Mugoni and Maria Pia - they are all absolutely stunning. The walk to Maria Pia is about 40 mins although there is a reliable beach bus service (as long as you're in season). It was €5 return for the day, or €20 euros for the week - there are lots of stunning beaches so if that's your thing the bus is worth it. There are lots of attractions you can get to from the harbour; cruises, Dolphin watching (be aware there is no guarantee you will see Dolphins) and Neptunes Grotto is well worth a visit! The couple that own the apartment were very welcoming and spoke good English. They will supply you with maps of the area and let you know the best supermarkets etc. It had good air conditioning and two balconies, so you get the sun through the day. The only downside to the apartment was the wifi was very intermittent - I had to stand in certain spots to get a signal. There weren't any wine glasses either but when we left the owners asked if there was anything missing or could be improved, we fed this back so it may have been rectified. As you can see, we are struggling to find any negatives to share about the apartment... We would definitely go back! … see more

Located in the old it is a very nice appartment. Also the appartment itself, not living next to all the other tourists, as in a hotel or on a camping. To us, a romantic appartment. The hostess was very friendly, as well before coming there, looking into our interests. She spook very good Englisch. The town Alghero is a nice old town at the coast. A lot of small and good restaurants, for a good price. At sunset sitting outside the cocktailbar seeing the sun go down. Chips served with the cocktail, together with a smile and a nice little talk. we surely will go back once. … see more
