“A little piece of Heaven” This luxurious apartment offered everything we could possibly need. The location was absolutely perfect just a short walk from the village where there is an abundance of excellent restaurants and pubs offering craic and entertainment. The accommodation provides excellent views from both the living room and main bedroom. Alvor also offers an excellent bus service and we went to Vilamora, Monchique and pria da Lux. 5* hotels provide spa facilities should you wish to indulge yourself all within walking distance. The service from our arrival at Faro airport where our driver was waiting for us to our departure was perfect. Michael's advice on where to eat and drink was very helpful. We would certainly recommend this apartment to our friends and we hope to be back to this apartment later this year.

“Couldn't ask for better apartment, home from home!” Apartment was everything we expected, home from home, fully equipped with high standard of finishing and well maintained, with pool and toddler pool on the premises all kept very clean. There is a Pingo Doce Supermarket within 5 min walk from apartment which has a butchers, bakery, fishmonger, off licence etc. At the Marina itself there are numerous bars and restaurants all within 10 min walk from apartment, across the footbridge takes you into town to more bars, restaurants, shops, banks etc..........We will definitely be looking to come back here again!!

“Wonderful Holiday” We had a really enjoyable holiday in Villa Francesca in June 2011. The beautiful villa, the garden/pool and the tennis courts next door were all ideal for our group which included our adult children and small grandchildren. The owners were kind enough to put childproof fencing on the upstairs balcony and this, together with a gate for the stairs in the villa gave us great peace of mind during our holiday. We played some golf on the nearby courses and the charming village of Carvoiero with plenty of excellent restaurants was just a few kilometres away. We would heartily recommend Villa Francesca to any family group and we hope to stay there again in the future.

“Amazing Villa” We loved Casa Elli which has been thoroughly and thoughtfully renovated by Dympna and Brian. It has all the modern appliances/tech that most of us have come to enjoy/expect so it creates a real luxury home from home feeling. The bedrooms are all of a really good size and each have an en suite so it works well for groups of family and friends. The pool is a good size for younger kids and can be heated. The glass balustrade and gate mean it is safe to be around with smaller children. The kitchen is well equipped including a wine fridge! In and out dining options mean you can enjoy lots of eating options. The garden is beautiful and looks over the golf course. There is a lovely roof terrace with more loungers and chairs and tables. The location is very quiet but close enough to walk to the marina in about 10-15 mins. If you have younger kids or elder members of the group it can take a bit longer but there is a useful route (along centre of Joao Meirelles) that has been pedestrianised which helps ease any stress away from navigating main roads. For the first time abroad we didn’t hire a car and that was a real plus because not only is it really easy to arrange a transfer (via Yellow Fish) which removes stress of hiring car and driving abroad but it also allowed you to really enjoy the local area. The marina is really nice with lots of great restaurants and Falesia beach is one of the best we have been too. All in all we had a really fantastic time and hope we can return to Vilamoura and Casa Elli.

“A very relaxing holiday, a lovely spacious apartment with with all amenities to hand” We (family of 4 including two daughters aged 11 and 8) had a most relaxing stay in Villa Baia. The apartment complex was lovely - the apartment was very spacious and very clean - the pool area was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The complex is located very close to the Luz beach and promenade with plenty of restaurants for all tastes. We would definitely recommend this apartment complex and area to family and friends and we intend to go back again soon.

“Excellent Apartment” This was one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. It was ground floor and had a lovely big patio with table and chairs and sun loungers. And a gate which led out to the pool area. It had everything, dishwasher, washing machine, sky tv, 2 very large bedrooms with sliderobes, 2 bathrooms, large lounge. I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to stay in.

“Fabulous apartment” We are just back from a wonderful week staying in this apartment. It is truely excellent - a real home from home with everything provided including fabulous views. The location is perfect and the pool although it looks small on the photos is a great size. We stayed with our two young boys and they had a whale of a time. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable including the sofa bed. Shops, pubs, restaurants, the beach, the harbour, the supermarket were all closeby. “'Awesome Birthday Present'” We took our grandaughter for a weeks holiday as her 10th birthday present. Couldn't find an ideal venue with any of the large travel companies, who all wanted to charge me for 2 individual apartments, since I wanted 2 bedrooms, So we booked the apartment and flights seperately. Everything was great. The location and the apartment itself was ideal. Very close to the beach, once we found the shortcut, with a bakery, supermarket and excellent restaurant just round the corner. Main bus route to Albufiera or Vilamoura at the end of the road. Lovely pool and very well appointed apartment. Just remember that to pay anyone in Southern Ireland it needs to be in Euros, which isn't a problem, but came as a surprise.

“Relaxing break” Just finishing up another great 10 days in this super apartment. Holidayed here before and loved it so was looking forward to returning. Definitely a home from home . The owners are constantly improving the apartment. Beds are very comfortable. Tv has all the channels . The complex is nice and quiet. It was a great relaxing break . “Excellent accommodation, family friendly in a great location.” We arrived at 9.30pm and were met by Fiona, the owner's representative, who was very helpful. The ground floor accommodation has three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one on-suite), a lounge, kitchen area (including all mod-cons) and a very large outside patio area which was great for our two grandchildren, especially as it was shaded from the late afternoon sun. There is a shared pool area (electronic/fob access only) only a short walk away which was excellent and well maintained. There is a magnificent beach 5-10 minute walk. We only had one problem in that the aircon in the master bedroom was not working and could not be fixed within the 7 days we were in the apartment. This was a little disappointing but did not stop the enjoyment of the holiday.

“Very spacious villa” As a family of 8 we couldn’t believe how much space we had. From the outset Helena was very welcoming and helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us. Local amenities are very close, no more than a ten minute walk. Everywhere else we used taxis but the journey is very short (and cheap). Villa is of very high standard, would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of booking. We will definitely book again.

“Fantastic apartment in lovely location” Have stayed in this apartment for the last 2 years and can highly recommend it. It is modern, very clean and is central to the resort. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The beach is just a short stroll away. The apartment is on the top floor with corner balcony giving lovely views. Local transport or taxi can take you to either Villamoura or Albufeira. Taxi fare to Albufeira cost approx 7 euros and to Villamoura approx 10 euros. Well worth a visit to Albufeira Old Town in the evening. Grounds where the pool is located is very well maintained with ample sun beds.
