“Relaxing and great service” My wife and I stayed at this beautiful ryiad in March and we were very happy that we selected this one. It's within a short distance away from the hustle and bustle of the city center and was very relaxing indeed. Ali the local caretaker is of great help with any local questions we had.

“Fantastic house, beautiful nature and amazing wildlife!” Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) spent 12 days in this villa. This holiday accommodation was more than perfect for our family holiday to Kruger National Park and the Blyde river canyon. Facilities were very luxury, immaculate, and just 45 minutes from the Orpen Gate. Our villa was surrounded by bushveld where we find giraffe, zebra, impala and warthog. An Kudu was sometimes drinking out of the pool, amazing! Because the villa is surrounded by bushveld you have a lot of privacy and enjoy nature up-close. The view from the villa on the Drakensbergen was fantastic especially by sunset! The activities in the direct area, like walking safari, night safari, game drives where very nice for kids, The favorite of our kids where the Horse Riding and a visit to Jessica the Hippo! Also the wild animals on the estate and the Kruger National Park were loved. The village of Hoedspruit was great, and offers a lot of facilities, 2 supermarkets, 2 gasstations, an shopping centre and many lovely restaurants, our favorite was Sleepers and Hat & Creek! Hat & Creek was also nice for the kids because of the playground. Hoedspruit village was only 3 min drive from the estate, friendly people in the area, safe and secure. The Host (Sue) were lovely and helped us if we had any kind of questions! The Family de Korte respond very quick to our questions, and the information guide is a great document which we received after our booking. We highly recommend this villa for a very special holiday, you won't easily forget!

“Significant improvements continue to be made by the new manageme” I stayed in the chalet for one month in 2013 after staying for one week in 2012. The owner continues to be accommodating and caring of his guests. I can say, unequivocally, that as I left in the middle of Oct 2013, there were no hygienic issues and I am confident that future guests will attest to that fact. The owner is providing a brand new set of Teflon-coated cooking pots & pans for those who prefer to self-cater. I used the $20/day all-inclusive feature provided by the resort because of its convenience and unbeatable value. The food provided was varied, plentiful, and is available 24 hours a day at different restaurants. The free morning transportation service provided by the resort to Ne3ma Bay is new this year and is very convenient for those who prefer to self-cater because they can go, as frequently as they wish, to pick up all the food they need, even on daily basis, from supermarkets. The time allotted is quite sufficient for shopping. I have found the resort management very responsive to any issues or problems encountered by guests once reported. I have had TV signal restored well into the night without having to wait until the next morning, or for business hours. Resort personnel are practically on call until midnight 7 days a week. This is something that one cannot find everywhere. The complete housekeeping service provided on daily basis by competent staff is a definite plus. The new resort management is making a significant effort to provide a needed facelift and appears to be succeeding. There is a new jetty added for snorkeling. It provides access to a much better section of the terrific resort reef. Changing kiosks and a toilet have been added on the beach, and so were sports facilities (volleyball, football) which add to the convenience of guests. It is true that Egypt is going through a very difficult period, but that is no reason for people to stay away from Sharm, which is very safe. I highly recommend the chalet and plan to go back in 2014.

“Best wedding anniversary of our life” Thankyou so much for making our stay for our wedding anniversary party so enjoyable. My wife fell in love with those amazing colour changing lights above the dining table...which wasn't a squeeze for our 14 guests. The roaring log fire just completed our celebratory dinner and the chef you provided cooked an inspirational dinner. The mist rolling in over the vineyards truly completed the ambience. We will be back.

“paradise on earth” I stayed a few times at Baobabbelge and I would recommend it to everyone looking to discover Senegal. I stayed in many hotels an B&b;'s over the last 7 years around the " Petite Côte", but nowhere I felt as good and welcome as at Dominique's. Sche has a special gift to make you feel so welcome, and help you out with discovering wat's happening around or organise some excursions all over Senegal. You want have a dull moment at her place, sometimes you will see her feeding or washing one of the abandoned kids, buying fresh fish at her doorstep or vegetables, having a duet with some of the musicians who visit her and so much more. What I also liked is that she always makes you discover good music, could be african, but also jazz, blues etc. Her rooms and terraces are so cosy, and there is always a hot shower in the clean bathroom. Baobabbelge is also located in a good spot, you are close to the beach ( 2 min walking), close to restaurants and bars and taxi's, and still you feel that you live among the senegalese friendly people. I would recommend this place especially for people who start their discovery of africa for the first time. If you start at Baobabbelge in Senegal you will fall in love with africa and always come back!

“Sa's Venice” Lazy Island is anybody's dream holiday location. Situated a few minutes over the gorgeous Thesen Causeway and within walking distance of the Knysna Waterfront, the Turbine Hotel (where you can see a bit of history, eat delicious food or enjoy the spa!), Thesen Island is in prime location to just about everything you would want to fulfil your holiday needs. Driftwood was simply a pleasure to stay in. From the beach-like decor, to the open shower, to the adorable fire place. The room was clean and fresh and anything we required either Corlia or Mark was happy to assist us with. Thesen Island itself was a safe place to stay in and we often saw children cycling around without a worry of them being in danger and the residents were friendly and welcoming. Lazy Island provided canoes in their own private jetty, available to paddle out onto the lagoon with and enjoy the sunset (or even follow the Thesen waters around to various restaurants!)- but if you'd prefer to take things slower, you could simply take a dip in the clear Thesen Island water- where tiny schools of fish can often be seen darting about! In short, Lazy Island is the best possible decision you could make for yourself, your partner or even your family's holiday desires without having to travel internationally. Everything you need is right in front of you... Ahhh.

“Fun, Safe and Relaxing while in accra” I stayed for a month at the large villa and was more than pleased with the safety and service from the people who work there. They not only ensured I was safe, they also taught me a lot about Ghana and the food they like to eat. Yes, the power goes out in accra but Freddie would start the power generator immediately. Gloria ensured the villa stayed clean and taught me how to cook a few Ghanaian dishes. Zachary was the night watchman and all was quiet in the evenings. Many thanks to Victor for such a great welcome when I arrived and for his help and smiling face every day. Want to experience the true culture of accra...stay here...it is peaceful, safe and so much fun. They are there to help you no matter what question you may have. A fabulous experience...stay here, you will not be disappointed.

“Home away from home!” Alet, Elbi, and Flory were amazing hosts who made us feel wonderfully at home. We stayed in their self-catering unit which was comfy, clean, and opened up to the courtyard and pool which made it feel like it was our own private backyard. The guesthouse has a beautiful garden and is just one street off the main road making it both quite and right in the heart of everything. We would definitely come back!

“Definitely a "feel-good" experience - to be repeated in future” We had the most wonderful time during our stay at Saffron Villa. Accommodation was excellent - we slept like babies with a sea-breeze cooling us - waking up to catch an early morning swim a couple of steps from our patio. Always a nice hot shower in neat and tidy bathrooms. The friendly staff had us feeling extremely pampered and spoil't. With the villa located on the beach, we could settle for just enjoying the tranquil scene and wonderful meals, early morning and sunset swims, walks on the beach and simply just relaxing, but the staff organized some nice excursions for us. So... all in all a very peaceful and special vacation amongst friendly locals. The best part - everything!

“back in time, but with internet!” We stayed at Nairobi Cottage for 6 nights. Conveniently located for our business trip, close to workplaces we needed to visit. Calm en quiet in the hustle and bustle of Nairobi. The cottage takes you back 100 years. A survivor amidst modern apartments coming up. Excellent beds, a bathtub that might have hosted Karin Blixen herself, and do-it yourself breakfast in the morning. Adriel and Donated provided fresh fruit, milk and bread to toast. And the speed of the internet was excellent.

“A most unique charming oasis of bequiling beauty & authenticity” Riyad africa has splendid spacious layout, superb facilites, comfort, standard, cleanliness and style. Amazing view and sunset from its roof top terrace - refreshing cool breeze at the close of the day. The most melodious dawn chorus to greet you on each new day. The early prayer calls during Ramadan that reminds one of one's human fragilities and tests or reassuringly re-enforces one of one's spiritual strength. Superb location, close proximity to the Medina to explore the intrigue of the souk and all the natural wealth and culture of Marrakesh. Ideal courtyard - an extension and heart of its residential space. Warm hospitality and excellent service from its dedicated and helpful staff (housekeeper/cook and knowledgeable manager who is always close at hand to help and advise if needed). An ideal place from where to explore the Medina and its Souk, the High atlas Mountain and its villages. The whole - an experience not to be missed! How very glad I am that we met! ... and am now laden with vast riches and tributes from our companionship - my sojourn here which I shall celebrate always. And hope to return to ... time and time again !
