Alaya Escape is an exclusive Bali-inspired retreat with self-contained Bed & Breakfast accommodation on the Sunshine Coast, ideally situated close to the cosmopolitan Sunshine Coast Hinterland villages of Montville and Maleny and an easy drive to the world-famous beaches of Mooloolaba, Noosa and Coolum. Dwellings consist of 1 and 2 bedroom fully self-contained bungalows, featuring harmonious contemporary architecture with tropical Balinese resort-style flavours, blending sophistication with natural materials.Each Bungalow is fully self-contained with a log-fired fireplace, large spa bath, refrigerator, TV, movies, cooking equipment and linen. Bungalows are surrounded with Balinese style tropical gardens, with over 1000 tropical palms, cycads, bamboos, fruit trees and colour laden plants. The resort style oasis pool with spa, Bali pavilions with bar, lounge and library areas, covered BBQ area, lotus pond with running water feature and the option of music, all provide the space, place and opportunity to do have the time of your life. The whole retreat seems illuminated at night by the luminescent blue oasis pool and the gardens take on a radiant dreamy quality. Has to be seen to be believed!

Each Balinese-inspired architecturally designed bungalow is equipped with all modern conveniences such as a television and DVD/media player (with supplied movies), air-conditioning and a refrigerator, as well as a double hot spa and a log-fired fireplace. Watch a movie from the spa with a red wine and the crackling of the log fire to entertain you or simply relax on the deck with a good book.

Ideally situated close to world famous beaches, Hinterland markets and villages, 400 metres from the world famous Chenrezig Budhist Institute, 10 minutes from Australia Zoo, The Ettamogah Pub, and 3 golf courses, Alaya Escape allows you to venture out and then quickly return to the mountain top hideaway and all of its indulgences. Truly a perfectly situated mountain retreat. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
