Langs Hall is an attractive Grade II listed property, formerly used as a dairy, which is rather unique and sets it’s above many other holiday cottages, recently refurbished to a high standard maintaining its character and charm.

The property is delightfully furnished and has a shared driveway accessed from a main gate and a fenced garden to front and rear with a barbecue and a picnic bench seating 5-6 people ideal for al fresco dining.

Some original features remain, the property is definitely a home away from home. Fabulous & interesting, cosy and comfortable.

Ground floor with spacious sitting area with feature fireplace (electric log burner effect fire) also including Smart TV, DVD and wifi, DAB/Bluetooth radio. Fully equipped kitchen/diner seating 5 (plus highchair) a coffee machine, microwave and fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, range cooker.

First floor-stylish and adequately furnished double bedroom & TV, a single bedroom with Work station, alarm clock and Bluetooth speaker overlooks the rear garden the family bathroom with roll top bath & shower tap and a separate shower with a generous supply of complimentary toiletries

2nd floor offers a spacious room with exposed beams and feature fire surround, twin beds which can be altered to a king size bed ( link beds) a large flatscreenTV, generous cupboard space.

Comfy beds and lovely linens to relax in with extra pillows and throws provided. White fluffy towels and quality bathrobes, hairdryers & complimentary toiletries all provided.

A Luxury welcome pack (A bottle of fizz!, fruit, chocolates, biscuits, breads, cereal, jams etc)

Cleaning service available on request and for longer stays we include weekly laundry / housekeeping service.

We are happy to arrange Flowers,champagne etc these can be supplied for your arrival at an additional cost.

Pets are welcome by prior arrangement ( we are also happy to supply dog bed/ bowl/ treats if needed) but do request they be kept to the ground floor level and off the furniture (no extra charge for pets )

The region has some charming heritage sites, parks and museums not to mention many quaint local villages full of character and history, old market towns and fashionable retail parks for those who love to shop! and some points of interest within easy walking distance.

A popular area for cyclists and walkers too, leaflets are at hand on a range of activities offered in the area. As owners we live nearby and know the area well and always available to help with regard to information ; directions, local current events and popular resorts to visit in the area.

Conveniently situated 10 minutes from motorway network whether for business or holiday use and within 1 hour by car/ bus or train from Preston,Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool, The Lakes and the picturesque countryside close by. Leyland is also home to the commercial vehicle museum.

The cottage is Dog Friendly, please ask when making the booking and tell us a little about your dogs

We do ask our guests to contact us prior to booking if thinking of bringing their pets to stay with them at the cottage this enables us to provide if required and if guests are travelling light ...a pets bed ,bowls etc and the appropriate treats and we do prefer they be limited to the ground floor and kept off furniture out of consideration for future guests

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Trisha (the owner) a message.

If Trisha (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
