Villa Luisa is a beautiful barn conversion on a small farming property in the heart of the Val'D'Elsa. We are now offering really seasonal rates for 2021. This is the perfect spot to tour from as it is midway between Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca. San Gimignano is half an hour away and Certaldo and San Miniato are even closer! Why not plan a weekend break or a Mid Week Getaway! I personally offer my own concierge services to help you plan your trip - from car rental to museum tickets and for setting up your trip when you are here! Villa Luisa is one of two villas on a small family farming property Casale Giovannelli that was once part of the large noble estate and Castle of Coiano in the Val d'Elsa area. Exceptionally decorated to a very high standard this is a small private country home that is set within a beautiful garden with lake and private salt water pool. Situated in its own private gardens, not far from the owner's master villa, Villa Luisa is a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom barn conversion that can sleep up to 6 guests. The ground floor is split into two and one half offers a spacious open plan living area with dining and kitchen areas and then a private hallway leads to the Master Bedroom with it's own inbuilt panoramic round tub that overlooks the garden. Upstairs are 2 further bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con throughout and high speed internet, all rooms have their own tv. The excellent kitchen space is well equipped, the accessories are very pretty and useful and there are excellent laundry and storage spaces. The property has been restored to make the very best of all the original features of the old farm barn. From the original whitewashed beams, to use of wood for flooring, staircase and all structural elements and the wonderful use of glass to make this property so very luminous. Light and airy it is truly a refreshing Tuscan home. Villa Luisa has its own pretty furnished veranda which is a beautiful shady spot for dining and relaxing and in the park garden there is a further gazebo with cushioned seating for reading and why not the occasional game of scrabble or bridge! The newly finished salt water pool is strategically placed and guests can enjoy the sun from dawn until dusk. Shade is provided by lots of poolside umbrellas, the adjacent pergola and shady garden areas. The pool is for the exclusive use of guests of Villa Luisa.The property also has its own private gated lake. The lake is surrounded by its own private woodland and is safely fenced all the way around. There are superb views along the rio of the neighbouring estate and castle of Barbialla, and over well kept lawns and then fields of either sweet corn or sun flowers depending on what the local farmers chose to sow from year to year. The property has a large professional laundry room for guest use. There are barbecues for use in the garden. This villa is also a very comfortable home to rent in the Autumn and Winter seasons. Fully heated indoors with outdoor Braciere – a wonderful Italian outdoor fire feature – it makes a great venue for enjoying the new wine and oil season, truffles and chestnuts. During the festive season the villa is a great base for travelling and visiting the local small hilltowns with seasonal festive markets and the major Tuscan art towns are all under an hour away. The villa offers total privacy with electric gates and private parking. Mid week maid service with bath linen change and final cleaning included. Extra service may be added on request. Excellent concierge services are offered at this property. It may also be rented with full or part time staff (butler, cook, maid, waiter etc) and is an example of an extremely welcoming and well serviced, comfortably restored family home.
