From the owner

3 bedroom cabin on 450' level, sand beach on the east side of Lake Florida. Located 6 miles west of Spicer in the Little Crow Lakes region of Central Minnesota, near Spicer, New London & Willmar.

Window boxes overflowing with flowers and a plate of homemade cookies on your table when you arrive tell you that this cabin specializes in homeyness and hospitality. Sunday morning homemade donuts, a Monday night pizza picnic and a Thursday night hayride for the children all add to the fun and help guests get aquainted.

Free use of paddleboat, kayaks, canoe, funbugs, hydrobikes, bicycles, tricycles and wagons. The resort is located on the east side of the lake which makes watching the sunset each night a special treat.

The cabin is a housekeeping cabin. It is equipped with stove,microwave, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans, etc. Guests must bring their own towels.

The cabin is an easy 2 hour drive from Minneapolis/St.Paul, the Minnesota Twins and the Mall of America. The Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center is right niext door and Sibley State Park is just 5 miles away. Both are great for hiking and nature lovers. The Glacial Lakes Trail runs from Willmar to New London. There are other bike trails in the Willmar area as well. The Kandiyohi County area is full of history, antique shops, parks, golf courses and other recreation. Join us!

Why can't I call Connie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Connie (the owner) a message.

If Connie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
