If it's space you want then Alpine Lodge is for you, being one of the largest cabins on the site, with its huge, stunning, cathedral style, vaulted ceiling it uniquely offers 4 double ground floor Bedrooms with 4 full en-suites each with a bath, shower, sink and WC. Wonderfully situated at Pentney Lakes, a paradise for fishermen, watersports enthusiasts and nature lovers; this extremely spacious, detached lodge is set within 275 acres of tranquil parkland. Its 'upstairs living' design makes the most of the beautiful lake views, and the charming surroundings are home to a number of rare plant species, and also attract abundant birdlife.

As well as private fishing, visitors can enjoy lovely scenic walking through woodland and around the lakes and the local quiet country lanes are ideal for easy and relaxed cycling. Golf and horse riding are available nearby and a great array of attractions lie within an easy drive. The gorgeous unspoilt sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea are justifiably famous, and at Hunstanton, a Victorian seaside resort with a Blue Flag beach, famous striped cliffs and fine formal gardens, visitors will find a host of family entertainments. Just 6 miles away are the historic harbourside, winding lanes of the old town and wide variety of shops in the port of King's Lynn.

The Queen's Estate at Sandringham is also within easy reach as is the little town of Holt with quaint shops and restaurants, whilst the lovely medieval city of Norwich, with its castle, cathedral, museums, galleries and excellent shopping, offers a great day out. Shop and pub 2 miles.

The cabin is normally available on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, however, please call for a discounted weekend or mid-week 2, 3 or 4 night stay.

Departure is requested by 10am with an Arrival time no earlier than 2pm to allow sufficient time for cleaning.

Unfortunately, we can only accept pet dogs due to the nature of other guests increased likelihood of allergies to cats. A utility room is available for them to sleep in but we do request pets are kept out of the bedrooms, simply to minimize the effect on other guests' allergies.

When we designed the lodge we thought of what we wanted when our children were teenagers and it was a toilet each and lots of space and things to do inside on rainy days and that's what we hope we provide. Why can't I call Corinne / Andrew (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Corinne / Andrew (the owner) a message.

If Corinne / Andrew (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
