Sitting high above the beautiful historic town of Samoens the chalet enjoys some of the most spectacular views in the valley. With an extensive and varied ski area for winter holidays and every activity you need in the summer months this really is a great location for your holiday.

Chalet Saint Loup has been built and furnished using both contemporary design and traditional materials to create a beautiful boutique chalet. Sleeping ten guests in three double bedrooms and a family suite with double bedroom and separate wooden bunkroom, all rooms have en-suite bathrooms. There is the option of accommodating a further 2 guests by using additional beds in the 2 larger rooms.

With open plan and varied living areas, the chalet is the perfect retreat for friends and families in spacious and relaxed surroundings. Backing onto a nature reserve with its dense forest of fir trees and alpine meadows the chalet has stunning views of the Grand Massif and Mont Blanc, in the ski season the chalet really is a "winter wonderland", in the summer months the tranquil surroundings offer the ideal summer getaway, in all seasons a genuine feel good home from home.

The chalet has a large 8 person hottub in the garden and a traditional Finnish woodburning sauna, inside there is free wifi throughout together with sky television. We now offer the chalet on a self catered basis.

Drying facilities and a boot warming room is available in the winter.

The Chalet benefits from under floor heating throughout as well two log burning fires to ensure your stay during the winter is warm. To ensure minimum impact on the environment the chalet is double insulated, heating is provided by a wood burning boiler, the sauna is heated by a wood burner and all our electricity is from a carbon neutral supply.

We have recently added a skiroom which provides direct access to the rental part of the chalet and provides storage for all of your skis and equipment.

There is adequate parking outside the chalet and a car will be required.

In the winter months the road is cleared of snow daily, we recomend that guests hiring cars from Geneva hire from the Swiss side of the airport as this simplifies the journey, further advice can be given at time of booking.

As owners and hosts we have been running the chalet since 2007 and live in a separate part of the chalet so are on hand throughout your stay to provide you with any information and assistance that you need to make your stay more enjoyable. We can organise airport transfers, summer activities and in the winter private ski tuition, mountain guides, ski passes and equipment, restaurant bookings, massages, child care, snow shoeing, and much more.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tony (the owner) a message.

If Tony (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
