As soon as you arrive at Hinton Lodge, you will feel you have escaped to a slower pace of life. Situated in a country lane you are away from busy roads and traffic yet close to rail and road connections for Bath, Bristol and London.

Hinton Lodge is quintessentially English which simply oozes character and is on one level, so it is perfect for families with young children. They can enjoy seeing the rabbits jumping through the grass and feed Wally, the big grey horse; you can sit in the garden and enjoy the views!

For a romantic getaway, or your honeymoon, Hinton Lodge provides a peaceful idyll. The master bedroom as a lovely four poster bed.

In Winter you can light the log fire, which all our guests say is a wonderful feature of staying at Hinton Lodge. There is also full central heating, to ensure you are warm in the cooler months of the year and Winter guests enjoy the atmosphere. Our library of DVDs will keep you entertained on rainy days.

We aim to make you welcome as soon as you arrive and aim to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. For instance, we have recently introduced an on-site pampering service, whereby you can book either a 40 minute Back, Neck and Shoulder massage or a 60 minute Full Body massage with our therapist who will do your treatment in the comfort of Hinton Lodge whilst you are staying there. So get pampered and relieve the stresses of every day life with a relaxing or deep tissue massage with Lynne. Please ask for more details once you have booked your holiday.

The cottage is in a quiet, rural location. Bed linen was provided, and the accomodation was clean, fully equipped and very comfortable The unusual, hexagonal shape of the property is very quaint.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Clea (the owner) a message.

If Clea (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
