At Cnoc Farraige (4 Oceanview Downings) you are just a few minutes stroll from the village with its two hotels and pubs, not to mention the beautiful sandy beach. The house is furnished to the highest standards offering all the comforts of home. The elevated decking to the front of the house provides the ideal spot to enjoy an al fresco drink or BBQ as you watch the sunset over the bay. Just the ideal accommodation for the family or extended family holiday. The lay out of bedrooms makes it perfect for mum, dad and kids upstairs and maybe gran and grandad with their own room and bathroom downstairs. The seperate TV room provides the children with additional space while parents can enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire in the lounge/kitchen area. Free WiFI.

A five minute drive takes you to two spectacular golf courses at Rosapenna and the famous Glenveagh National Park is only thirty minutes away. Water sports are a must with lessons available locally in the village.

Don't fancy cooking? You will be spoilt for choice in one of the restaurants specialising in the freshest of local seafood. Spend a quiet night by the turf fire after an active day or a indulge in a night out in a traditional pub, the choice is yours. Relax and enjoy.

We kindly ask that the house is left tidy for our housekeeper. All used dishes/ kitchen utensils should be cleaned. The dishwasher may be left running.
When returning from the beach we kindly ask that sand is removed from shoes etc. before entering the house. The damage deposit may be used to pay if excessive cleaning is required. Please inform us of any issues asap to enable these to be corrected.
Pets are normally permitted but please confirm at the time of booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Patricia/brendan (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Patricia/brendan (the owner) a message.

If Patricia/brendan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
