Lilac Villa is a large Edwardian style house with 5 upstairs bedrooms and fully enclosed garden.

This holiday home in Skegness is only 5 minutes walk to an award winning beach and to the Sea Front and main promenade. Located in the quieter North part of the town, however the town centre is only a 10 minute walk.

There are shops pubs and restaurants within 500 yards.The price includes all utilities and there are no meters anywhere in the property .

The reviews left by guests are always positive and mainly mention how large the house is and what a great location it's in.

There are many amenities close by (10 minutes walk only) including: Natureland Seal Sanctuary, the North Shore Hotel with an 18 hole golf course, the pier, Pleasure Beach funfair, The Skegness Pier, Xsite for extreme sports The Suncasle Bar and Restaurant and also many other restaurants, pubs and takeaways.

Skegness is full of interesting things including Gibralter Point Nature Reserve, Stock Car racing and the aquarium.

A 45 minute drive will bring you to Alford which has antique shops; a twice weekly farmers market; regular craft market; five-sailed windmill and Manor House to discover. Heading further along the coast for half an hour then you will find the quiet sea-side resort of Sutton-on-Sea and the livelier resort of Mablethorpe, both with wonderful Blue Flag beaches.

The open top bus runs by the house and will take you to Butlins which is good fun for a day out with the family. Or you can carry on another five minutes and visit Fantasy island with a large funfair and many bars restaurants and entertainment venues. There is also an open air market at Ingoldmells which is said to be the largest in Europe.

If you feel like exploring a little further afield we are also close to the Lincolnshire Wolds which are ideal for the rambler or cyclist. How about a visit to Horncastle with its many antique shops; or Louth, the Historic Capital of the Lincolnshire Wolds, both a half hour drive away.

Louth is a lovely market town with many independently owned boutiques butchers, delis, specialised cheese shop and many tea rooms it's worth a visit however, the morning is best as some only open for a half day.

An hour's journey away you will find the Cathedral City of Lincoln with its shops, museums and eateries and beautiful Cathedral.

Take a drive another day and you can visit historic Boston, the home of the Pilgrim Fathers' and the Boston Stump.

Finally who can forget that Lincolnshire is 'Bomber County' and we are ideally placed to visit the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight based at Coningsby which is around 40 minutes drive away. The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, is the home of the only other working Lancaster in the Country and is about 30 minutes drive away.

At Lilac Villa there is off street parking on the drive for two cars and unrestricted parking on the street.

The enclosed private garden has a sitting out deck area with table, chairs fire pit and barbeque.

Around the corner is a COOP and an Asda Express.

There's a nice Italian restaurant called San Rufos across the street and The Olive for Mediterranean food, as well as Salts fish and chip shop with sit in café or take away. The other direction on Seaview Road leads you to the beach. There is another fish and chip shop here called Seaview Fisheries which will deliver. (This is always a good idea on your first night !) Close to this is a new restaurant called Raff 55 which serves a full English all you can eat breakfast which I would highly recommend. They also serve lunch from 12 noon and dinner from 5 pm. All served self service style child friendly. Next door to this is a good, dog friendly pub, The Seaview, with nightly entertainment during the summer season.

THIS IS A NO SMOKING indoors at the PROPERTY. Smoking allowed outside only.

2 DOGS are WELCOME FREE OF CHARGE.

There are two lounges with Smart TV's. Included accounts are Netflix, Disney + and Prime.

On the first floor is a family bathroom which has a free standing claw foot tub, brand new walk in shower and toilet. On the ground floor is a shower room with toilet.

We have a portable baby crib, also a high chair in the property.

In the Villa there's an eating space in the kitchen, the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, coffee maker etc, there's also a dishwasher and washing machine.

The main comment I have is that the location of the house is fantastic and that the house is so large and spacious that is not captured in the photographs.

Your pet is very welcome but please do not allow your dog to go into carpet areas and on beds and furniture. Dog hair on mattresses sofas etc will incur a fee taken from the damage deposit.

Recycling is only paper cardboard plastic and tins (NO GLASS)
On check out please strip the beds and leave in the bag in the laundry room. Thank you.
