This beautiful and stunning 2-bed chalet sits outside of the Norfolk Broads and close to Great Yarmouth. It is a delightful place to have a relaxing coastal break with a small selection of places to eat and drink on site. As well as a 14th century church, California also boasts a beautiful sandy beach with a high quality pub/restaurant overlooking it. Visit neighbouring Ormesby St Margaret and Hemsby for a wider range of amenities. For a taste of nature you can head for the Norfolk Broads where the scenery can be explored; this is a great place for walking , or head for beautiful Norwich city for a day's shopping and you can explore museums and architecture whilst you are there.

Passes for the Club Oasis club house are included in the price, they have entertainment most nights, including kids entertainment, bingo and cabaret style acts, meals are available in the restaurant located inside and it benefits from free wi-fi internet access.

There is an indoor swimming pool for both adults and children on the estate, please check dates for availability and price.

If you do not feel like driving, the bus stop is just opposite the entrance to the site.

This great holiday place is well furnished:

- The chalet is electric only and this is paid for via a coin meter. The meter is in the cupboard by the window in the lounge, electric is set so you only pay for what you use.

KEY COLLECTION

You will collect the key to Chalet from the Keysafe on the wall, right hand side outside the chalet. You will be given the number for the safe after you have paid and any important details like phone numbers etc.

A week's holiday is from Saturday to Saturday. You enter the chalet after 2pm on Saturday and vacate by 10am the following Saturday.

Kindly leave the chalet tidy, please. The next holiday maker will come in after 2pm. Many thanks.

TRAVEL DETAILS

Your Sat Nav or Google, from your mobile phone will show you the best way if you are driving. Public Transportation will depend on where you are coming from. If you are travelling by train, Great Yarmouth Station is the nearest. You can either get a taxi cab from the Station or walk up to Market Gates and wait for Bus 1A - they run every 20 minutes at the height of the season or half an hour when it is quieter. The Post Code is NR29 3QL California Road, which will help you to find the location on your Sat Nav or Google map.

We leave our guest alone to enjoy their Holiday, the entrance key is via key safe so it's easy to gain entry with the code provided, but we have friends are on site should you need them. Our cleaner has upgraded his cleaning products to a hospital grade standard and added extra cleaning checks to help prevent covid infection. If you or any of your party show signs of covid we ask to get yourselves tested and if found positive to return home immediately, inform us so we can get the chalet deep cleaned, we appreciate your co operation in these difficult times. We advise you take out travel insurance to cover such emergencies.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Richard and Susan (the owner) a message.

If Richard and Susan (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
