We welcome two well behaved dogs at Townend Holiday Cottage and are sure that they will enjoy the fabulous walks in Sheldon and the surrounding countryside. We do ask that they are kept downstairs and off the furniture.
Please note that the patio and parking areas are not fully enclosed. There is a gate at the end of the driveway but this is often kept open. If this is an issue, please get in touch with me prior to your stay to discuss. Thank you.
We also have another one bedroom holiday cottage on site (Keepers Cottage), making this the ideal choice for two couples looking to go on holiday together, whilst enjoying their own separate living space.

Further details outdoors
Sheldon is a quiet linear village, with its cottages and farms set alongside a single road. The view down the village from Townend Holiday Cottage is wholly delightful, and surprisingly soft for a former lead mining village. Ancient sycamore trees, village greens and the old red telephone box (now housing a defibrillator) all add further character, (and mercifully free from both yellow and white lines). There is a seating area in front of the cottage and parking for one car within the cottage grounds. There is also plenty of road parking in front of the cottage.
