“Amazing little hidden gem and pet friendly” Lovely bungalow on a nice quiet caravan site. The location is perfect for the beach, a good 10-20 minute walk and that’s at the pace of our 5 year old daughter. The bungalow is really modern, clean, spacious inside. Perfect parking for 2 cars. Pet and child friendly especially with the enclosed decking on the back. One thing we did find lovely, no matter who you passed on site, people always said “good morning/afternoon” everyone on the site was really friendly and welcoming.

“Lovely Christmas break” Just returned from a great break, the house was decorated and very Christmassy. Well equipped kitchen made Xmas cooking easy, nice walks in the area and a couple of good pubs ten mins walk away.

“Cosy apartment in the beautiful dales.” Your apartment is warm, cosy and spacious and has everything available that you could possibly need to make the stay very comfortable. Appliances galore in the kitchen- loved the slow cooker. We enjoyed playing the games and puzzles that were available, especially the big 500 piece Europe jigsaw! We had a lovely week exploring the dales, the apartment is centrally located to travel around with ease. We visited Asgarth Falls, Tan Hill, Malham Cove, Hawes Wensleydale cheese factory, White Scar caves, Bolton Castle... among other places. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. “Beautiful, well appointed, relaxing country retreat” Nestled in the countryside, just outside of the village of Brandesburton in Yorkshire. This converted cart shed is a beautiful conversion, retaining some of the original features. It has everything you need for quiet, relaxing time away. We booked this for my wife's 70th birthday celebrations, with family coming from around the country to join us for the weekend in the middle of our stay. We particularly enjoyed being able to watch so much wildlife from the windows on wet days, and out in the garden on others. There are wonderful walks to enjoy, and it is close to many local landmarks. Burton Agnes Hall is close by, as are the towns of Hornsea, Withernsea, Bridlington, Scarborough, and the City of Culture Kingston Upon Hull. We absolutely loved our time here, and were sorry to leave. We were so very well looked after by John and his family. Thankyou

“Absolutely fabulous” Superb barn conversion in lovely surroundings. A perfect place to relax and unwind. A perfect location to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.The accommodation is finished to a very high standard. It's beautiful, spacious and very comfortable . Jeff & Karen are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything to ensure a perfect stay. The hamper full of lovely goodies was a wonderful surprise when we arrived. We will definitely be returning.

“It's the little things that make this cottage so special!” Last year we stayed in a sweet but very tiny cottage. So Manor Farm Cottage was a breathe of fresh air for us, with 3 very bouncy kids. A large kitchen diner, a comfortable lounge, a huge family bedroom for the kids and a decent double for us was just what we needed. But it was the food parcel, including fresh eggs from the owners' chickens, a huge array of toys, DVDs, books and sweets for the children, a lovely garden complete with BBQ and a Little Tykes car (our 4 year old was in heaven!) and then Catherine popping round with strawberries she had just picked - it was these things that made Manor Farm Cottage so special!

“Terrific family house” Minster Bells is a spacious, convenient, and well-appointed house, with a very pleasant and helpful owner. Three generations of our family (aged 2 to 70+) enjoyed our long weekend there, while attending a family wedding. The house is very handy for the tourist sights, for shops (including a nearby supermarket, and restaurant) and for weddings at the Hospitium. Janet provides a most useful guide-pack to the facilities in the house, and to York in general. I would recommend Minster Bells highly.

“Half Term Break” Just returned from Mile House East, where we stayed for 4 nights. The house is stunning and is set in a quiet village with an abundance of walks around the local area. The house is really well equipped with everything you could possibly need! We particularly liked the room over the barn with a snooker table and a great choice of board games and DVD’s to watch. Leyburn is a 10 minute drive away and the local pub just 2mins drive down the road to Carlton. We would recommend the walk from Bolton Castle to Aysgarth Fallls which takes in some stunning views of the local area. We stayed as 2 families with a pet dog and had a thoroughly enjoyable break.

“everything you need” This home is everything you need. Close to all attractions in York we never moved the car once as house close to everywhere we wanted to go just a couple of minutes walk away. Lovely clean house with a generous welcome pack waiting for you. Plenty of storage space. Info folder very helpful with ideas of places to go. Lots of nice bars and place to eat within a stones throw. Many thanks on letting us rent your beautiful property and we will definitely book again.

“Perfect place to stay in Whitby” Six of us stayed in Gulls Cry Cottage in September and had a lovely break, the cottage is extremely comfortable, nicely set up and ideally situated in Whitby. “private and peaceful” It was all it said it would be in the description. Very clean and well equipped. Judy welcomed us and gave us some useful information. But also left you in peace.We enjoyed York minster,Jorvik centre,Castle museum and Whitby.We used the park and ride at the local designer centre to get to York as it was cheaper and less hassle than taking the car. The only thing to remember is if it is extra cold you will need £1 coins for the meter. Other than that it was great.

“Great cottage in central Whitby with Parking!” We've had a wonderful week staying at Abbey View in Whitby, we being myself, husband, 11 year old son and 80 year old mother. It was perfect! Abbey View is in a great location in central Whitby with the added bonus of a parking space right nearby and we were able to unload our stuff from the car directly outside the cottage. This charming cottage has everything we needed to be able to easily self cater, although the fish and chips in Whitby is not to be missed and there are plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance. It is a short climb up from the centre of Whitby, which my 80 year old mother managed without too many problems. The cottage was very clean when we arrived, the linen was lovely and the beds were comfortable. My son loved his bedroom on the top floor. The cottage is very spacious despite external appearances - it looks tiny from the outside! We would have no hesitation in booking to stay here again and recommending to friends.
