“beautiful place to stay in merida!” Everything about this vacation home was great! Reservations and payment online were made easily and quickly. The home was clean, pretty and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The small pool was great for cooling off and playing around. We really enjoyed the hammock and the outside table and chairs, for relaxing in the evening. Merida is a nice town and great for day trips, to the beaches in Progreso and to Chichen itza. The home is near to the central zocalo and market areas downtown, yet located in a calm, residential area. It was a relaxing, convenient and beautiful place to stay!

“Delightful month in a real, everyday Mexican neighborhood.” Casa Limon is a comfortable small house in a residential neighborhood. Very clean, everything works. My wife and I enjoyed our month there immensely. If you are looking for an experience living in a typical Merida environment this is it. There are many good restaurants within a five minute walk and taxis are readily available on the main street a block away. We rented a car for most of our stay which made for a fabulous time touring the many great ruins which surround Merida and exploring the city itself. Car rentals are inexpensive and driving in Mexico is great fun once you understand that the rules of the road are regarded mostly as suggestions for other drivers. I can recommend Casa Limon for a couple or small family. The lady who manages the house (the mother of the owner) was friendly and helpful. The neighborhood in our experience was safe and the people lovely. We also recommend the ruins at Uxmal, and for a swim in one of the worlds most beautiful natural pools, the cenote at Dzibilchaltun. All in all, we felt we got a very good deal and were very satisfied.
