“This was really good, if not perfect” what a great stay we had in one of Nicky Woods beautiful log cabins in Pewsey. We were with 4 people, 2 adults & 2 kids so the spacious bedrooms were great. Also having 2 bathrooms is excellent. The kitchen and livingroom are big and the whole place is nicely decorated. We felt at home right away. Although it was october we had some nice & sunny days, also some cold and rainy nights. No worries there either. The cabin was warmed up to a cosy place really fast. The cabin and surroundings with the water in front and the Canal nearby are really worthwhile. This, together with beautiful Pewsey Vale and the many sights to visit made it one of the best weeks we ever spent in the UK.

“Perfect” We had an amazing stay. The barn was beautiful and had everything needed and the surroundings amazing. It is the perfect location to explore Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset. Charlotte was the perfect host and went out of her way to make our 6 year old daughter feel welcome from leaving a child’s table and chairs in the barn to taking her to meet the brand new puppies who were born during our stay. We truly did have the most wonderful stay and hope to return.

“Great house in super relaxing location.” Access was very easy. The converted barn was very open and made for a friendly atmosphere. The standard of cleanliness was high and the cottage was very well equipped with washing machine, dryer etc and warm dry spaces, useful for days of bad weather. The underfloor heating and double glazing was so effective that in terrible weather it was enjoyable to sit inside and watch outside. Deer visited the garden. A great place.

“Wonderful !!!” This lovely Georgian cottage is located just a few minutes walk from the centre of Bradford-on-Avon. The cottage has amazing views overlooking the town and countryside from every window and is decorated so tastefully. There are some lovely and friendly independent shops, cafes and pubs within walking distance of the cottage, as is the train station with regular trains to Bath, Bristol and beyond. Staying here felt like a real treat and we look forward to going back again later in the year.

“Beautiful cottage in a wondrous environment.” All Saints Cottage exceeded our expectations. It is absolutely beautiful, clean, and quiet. Mrs. Fenella Weir's warm greeting made us feel at home. We were exhausted after flying 10 hours nonstop from Oregon to Heathrow Airport, and driving on the opposite side of the road! We slept very well on a comfortable king size bed. In the morning after a hot shower (and tea with milk and cake graciously provided by our host), we drove a short distance to Avebury. On the way back, we did our grocery shopping at Waitrose in Marlborough. I always buy organic which was easy to find. The following day we visited Glastonbury and Chalice Well. (You can park across the street at Draper for a small fee. My husband bought a pair of their fine leather and sheepskin boots.) On the third day we went to Stonehenge and Woodhenge. We did laundry in the washer on our final day and walked the land. The weather was wonderful and I took photos of the stars at night from the backyard of the cottage. We also ate and drank at The Golden Swan and The Seven Stars Inn. What great food and friendly people! We would love to come back some day.

“Superb Accommodation and setting” We had a fabulous weekend at The Milk House with six adults and two teenage girls. It was was clean and tidy with everything we needed. Beautifully decorated. All the linen smelt lovely and fresh. Rebecca was a warm and friendly host; generously allowing us to help ourselves to flowers and veg from the garden. We all felt very relaxed and extremely comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the large kitchen where there was a good supply of crockery, utensils and condiments making it a pleasure to feed our crowd. The views of the woods and garden were most enjoyable. I only wished we had stayed longer, it was hard to leave and we all want to go back again.
