Pure Luxory

Brilliant location 5 minutes maximum to Piazza Bra & The Arena. A large supermarket around the corner. Both the ensuite and main bathroom have large powerful walk showers, sink, toilet and hairdryers. The beds are very comfortable and the apartment has been finished to a very high standard. The terrace gets the sun all day (9.30 - 5.30 in May) and is great for breakfast, wine or just relaxing. This apartment is better than the pictures. Villa Sogara
Gorgeous, perfect Location and incredible hosts!

What wonderful place to stay and a perfect location from which to explore! We spent a fantastic week here with friends and family, 10 in all, and we couldn't have been happier with the location, the space, the food and particularly the hosts. This is a large villa with many rooms (some of which we never used there were so many) and all were large and spacious including the bedrooms and they all suited their functions perfectly. Sometimes finding a villa with a large enough kitchen and dining room isn't always possible but at Sogara both were great size and well stocked even though we did most of our dining on the romantic outside terrace facing the beautiful courtyard. The other wonderful thing about Villa Sogara are the hosts. Tomasso and Ella were truly two of the most warm and friendly hosts we have every come across helping us with information, recommendations, directions and any other needs or questions that we could come up with and always available whether it was 8 in the morning or 11 at night. And then there is the food! Ella is truly a very gifted chef and we experienced incredible meals every time she prepared dinner for us. She would prepare Antipasto, two pastas, entree and dessert for each meal and all were incredibly delicious. The other nice thing about the dinners is that they did all the prep, serving and cleaning so those mundane items which I don't like doing while on vacation were taken care of. The last item is the location. We like to do a new city/town everyday so having a location that is central to a lot of places is essential. Sogara puts you very close to Verona, about 20 minutes, which is a magnificent city, but also less than an hour to Mantova (this is an incredible city and an UNESCO heritage site), Lake Garda, Padova, and even Venice, which was about and hour and twenty but an easy straight drive on the Autostrada. Perfect in every way!

Tiziana's apartment was spacious, warm and comfortable. It is perfectly located as all of the beautiful sites in Verona were within easy walking distance. Our flight was delayed which meant that it was nearly midnight when we arrived but Tiziana's mum and dad arranged a taxi for us and came to greet us to show us around the apartment which was greatly appreciated. Casa Mazzanti: picta the domus in Piazza Erbe
A lovingly restored apartment in one of Verona’s historic buildings

A top floor apartment (there is a lft) with the original centuries old wooden beams visible under the rafters. Close to all the best restaurants in Verona, an easy walk to the Arena and close to the lively Piazza delle Erbe but in a quieter back street, this is an excellent base for a holiday in Verona, or, like us, for attending the opera. The apartment is well equipped (excellent shower). Nicola is a caring host and always on call for advice or to solve problems. This is the second year running we have stayed in one of his rentals and we plan to be back next year. There are too many great places close by to list but I would recommend Bugiardo wine bar, the Dante Cafe, the Arche Restaurant and to go up the Torre de Lamberti. For very reasonable home cooking (3 generations in the kitchen) go to Da Mario, a puzzeria and risottoria near the Arche Scagileri. … see more
VILLA BEATRICE: WONDERFUL VILLA WITH POOL OVER VERONA!
Perfect Stay in Verona

Our family stayed at Simone’s villa for Easter and we had a wonderful time. Due to the spacious and beautiful garden we almost didn’t leave the estate even though Verona is only minutes away by car. The house offered enough space for everyone (6 adults and 2 kids) and we felt home immediately. Simone was very helpful to make us feel welcome and he provided us with the best recommendations.
