“Paradise” We loved Great Expectations so much we returned to it again this year. It is perfect for a group because you have the kitchen/den area, but you can get away because your bedroom is private with your own private bathroom. They have everything you will need in the kitchen. The ice makers are very handy. There is free wireless internet too. The view is breathtaking, but you are still just a short drive to beaches and night life. We will return for our third trip soon!

“You'll Love the Beautiful Taj by-the-Sea” Taj by-the-Sea is a beautiful little palace overlooking the Caribbean Ocean where I've stayed on our annual family vacations for the past several years. It's impossible to get over the view each morning almost forgetting there was a whole Island to sight see. I wake up to a refreshing breeze with a quick & very safe jog to Shoreline Drive and breakfast watching the Princess & Carnival cruise liners come in to dock. The ships sailing in is so calming and relaxing. The afternoons included packing a basket of light snacks and a quaint walk to the beach so close by it was magnificent. I enjoyed watching the fish and sting rays in the clear blue water. The sand was soft and welcoming with such perfect weather. Included on the property is a garden of organic fruits and vegetables. Delicious mangoes, coconuts, soursops, breadfruit and more. We were welcome to enjoy eating and cooking the delectable healthy foods from the garden. After a dreamy day of sightseeing, I can't forget the beautiful skyline lighting up with the lights from the cruise liners. The moon reflecting on the ocean was also unforgettable. I felt like I was at a five star hotel all to ourselves. I highly recommend this Caribbean getaway with spectacular views and more. I will keep coming back. I look forward to bringing my daughter and introducing this exquisite little palace to friends and co-workers via Facebook, Twitter, & Instagram. Definitely worth experiencing the Beautiful Taj by-the-Sea.

“Peaceful paradise” Our recent trip to St John was our third visit but our first time to stay at Chateau Margot. We found it to be a wonderdul facility, with plenty of privacy, a lot of room, well furnished and well maintained. It is high on the mountain so we had plenty of breezes and virtually no noise other than the birds. It is a big place with great amenities, loads of snorkel equipment, very nice deck, pool, grill and views. Access is a bit challenging but all driving on St John is pretty challenging. Great location for a large group with plenty of privacy for all with the separate buildings. Not far from Coral Bay which is as comfortable as it gets. Great villa in every way.

“Home away from home” We have rented many vacation homes in many places and Drake's view is the first one we have honestly considered returning to. The location speaks for itself, and the details of the house in most of the previous reviews are spot on (the good ones at least). The management (Fernando and Dorothy) is very modern, efficient and friendly. Thank you for making our family vacation and my 48th birthday unforgettable.

“Such a Beautiful View - Built to Perfection” Stayed here with husband and two teenagers. Had a great time. Rick was so nice and helpful with suggestions/directing us around the island. The house was even more beautiful in person. The views are amazing! Infinity pool spectacular! Definitely need a jeep or large vehicle. Thanks Rick for everything!

“We had a glorious time.” Just got back from a vacation in STX where we stayed at Calypso Condo in the Gentle Winds resort. The resort was conveniently located for all our excursions. The condo was beautifully appointed and the owner provided us with everything we needed, and then some. We took great advantage of the resort beach, pool and snack shack. We also spent hours relaxing on the screened porch in the evenings. If we make it back to STX, we hope to stay at Calypso Condo again.
