“Beautiful view and beaches” Our first experience of Tobago could not have been better. Nothing beats the warm blue ocean and white sandy beaches. Villa Nirvana offered us ample accommodation for our party and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The beautiful layout with the outside patio and splash pool was our favorite space which we used every night. The view from the patio of Buccoo reef (nylon pool) during the day and the beautiful sunsets at night was one of our many highlights. Frank the owner was very accommodating and made our trip a memorable one. I highly recommend Villa Nirvana for your next family vacation.

“Pollards family trip” The place was great, clean, comfortable and safe. The sunset and view of the gulf was breath taking and the price was worth the house, Mrs McMillan was very helpful and caring calling all the way from New York City to make sure all our needs were met. Thanks for making our first time home in 23 years a very pleasant and memorable time. God bless you.

“Do you love Tropical Heat and Tranquility!!!” If you love the heat and the tranquility of the tropics, your going to love Casa Casini. Jan and Steve go out of their way to welcome you into their tranquil home which has gated access and separate accommodation for you and your significant other. Your top floor flat has separate access, is nicely laid out which you can see from the pictures and has a beautiful balcony from which you can see and hear the ocean. The shared pool area is excellent for sun bathing and taking a cool break from the heat and the ocean is only a 5 minute walk away. A car is a must as you cannot stay here without touring the islands beautiful sites. The Local restaurants have all the standard offerings at very reasonable prices or if you like to cook the local markets have everything you need. We just had a great time!!

Trinidad and Tobago holidays

Trinidad and Tobago offer completely different experiences of the Caribbean, small Tobago is laid back and scarcely developed, often called the pearl of the Caribbean, while Trinidad is thriving and busy. Both islands have wonderful beaches, while cosmopolitan Trinidad buzzes with festivals, mostly centred on the capital Port of Spain, Tobago is unspoilt and tranquil.

Plantation View
Wonderful secluded holiday getaway

We arrived on April 15th, hired our car at the airport and made our way to the villa where we were met by the affable Colin who showed us around and gave us some tips on places to visit during our stay. First impressions were ' Wow, what a view!'~ the property is high up and this means that there is a great vista of the sea and the towns below. The gardens are filled with all kinds of amazing flowers and plants with mangoes, grapefruit and mandarins among others and we saw lizards, hummingbirds, mot mots as well as having visits from the local chickens. We visited a few of the beaches, the best being Pigeon Point which is well worth the few dollars it costs to get in and then to hire sunbeds. We went on a tour of the island and enjoyed swimming at the Argyll waterfalls and a stop off at Castara where we watched the locals pulling in their fishing nets from our seats at the bar on stilts. Another trip out saw us going to Fort King George at Scarborough, which was full of local history, and a short visit to Bacolet beach where the Swiss family Robinson was filmed in 1975. We enjoyed breakfasting at House of Pancakes, at the turn off to Pigeon Point, and also a drink and fries at Legger's bar near Mount Irvine bay, our local beach. We ate at the villa most nights, making full use of the barbecue, and got some really excellent meat from the meat shop at Golden Grove. A special mention for a place to visit is Sunday School at Buccoo, just down the road, where you can enjoy a steel band and a bit of a flutter on a version of roulette. The villa is homely, the pool table a source of evening entertainment and the pool affording a welcome dip during the heat of the day. Everyone we met was really friendly and welcoming; All the neighbours say hello and we felt really welcomed by everybody we met. Our two week stay was over before we knew it. Check-in at the airport was a very easy going experience as the airport is so small, but get your souvenirs before you leave as you can only really buy cigarettes and alcohol in duty free. Would recommend as a great place to stay as it is so easy to get to everything but a car is a necessity as you are 500ft above sea level and up a winding road, which is why you have such wonderful views. This island is well worth a second visit as there is so much to see and do.see more
Secluded villa in Englishmans Bay
Very peaceful and spacious home in a great location.

Everything was well prepared when we arrived. Jango (the master gardener and our greeter when we arrived) was very patient and waited for 4 hours as our flight was delayed. The house was well equiped with all the kitchen needs including the most important BBQ grill. Great for cooking the local fish of the day!! Houskeeping came 3-4 times in the week for fresh towels and sheets. We loved the island and everything it had to offer: 1. The in-house dining experience with Adam was excellent and very reasonable priced. Well recommended for at least one night of your stay. 2. Englishman's bay was one of the nicest beaches and only a 5 minute drive from the villa. The roti lunch at Eula's was fantasick. 3. The hike to the highest point on the Island (Pigeon Point) was challenging, but well worth the trip. The rainforest hike and birdwatching tour (with Peter Cox) was also a great and professional experience. 4. We recommend taking a small fishing boat over to Little Tobago and Goat Island......this was more personalized than the commercial tours offered. 5.Wednesday night at the Boat House was a blast. Steel drum night and the place was packed. 6. You have to buy a loaf of homemade (dirt oven) bread in Castera. Three old ladies have been making the bread for generations. 7. 2 words of caution....take as much TT's as possible. The only ATM's that dispensed cash for us were in Scarborough or Crown point. Also, the grocery stores outside of Crown point/Scarborough have very limited groceries. Buy as much as possible when Jango takes you shopping. 8. Mr. Rattan's rental car service was great. Great car, great service.see more
Villa Kiskadee Tobago
The best villa I've rented in Tobago

The villa is situated near to Crown Point and is located close to two of Tobago's best beaches. The villa is beautifully decorated and incredibly comfortable. It suited myself, my mum and my two children perfectly. The kitchen was very well equipped and the pool lovely.. Deon and Beverly who look after it were brilliant and took great care of us. I felt very secure as well and fantastic restaurants etc nearby. No need to hire a car. Will most certainly look forward to returning to villa Kiskadee soon.see more

Marbago - Tobago

What a wonderful experience. Marbago was everything we hoped for and more. Marta and Alan are lovely people and their home is just paradise. A hidden gem and off the beaten path there is everything and more that you need providing you like peace, quiet and solitude. You need a car and a bit of a plan for fuel and shopping but we couldn’t have asked for better. The location is stunning and Marta provided fantastic, detailed instructions and information before we arrived. We got married during this trip and being able to stay at Marbago added the final topping to a perfect wedding. Providing it is available we wouldn’t stay anywhere else on future visits, and there will be many. Thank you both so much, Tim and Cassiesee more
