We were really sorry that you were unable to use the Wifi, but very glad that despite that and some inclement weather - which almost certainly caused the phone line fault -you enjoyed staying at Tregoodwell Cottage. It did take BT their full 3 days to fix it but by then I think the weather had improved anyway so you probably didn't have such a need for the Wifi. Do come again.

"Cosy and comfortable - excellent location"

I have lots of family in the Camelford area so booked this cottage via a holiday rentals website. The cottage is located in a small, very peaceful and quiet little hamlet literally just outside Cam… More

We are very pleased that our guests enjoyed their time at Tregoodwell Cottage and wish to return. Responding to the points raised: There should have been adequate linen provided, the bathroom should have had a bath mat and the fire grates should of course have been cleaned. We will address these matters. We had provided a Wok instead of a frying pan but understand that some people would prefer a conventional frying pan which we will now provide. Regarding the outdoor chairs, to be honest we had not anticipated warm enough weather and they were in the shed by the patio. With spring more or less here now we will put them out for guests' use. Concerning the hot water, I suspect the guests had found that the Combi-Boiler's 12 gallon hot water tank runs out when you run a bath, but only for a couple of minutes. Then the hot water is replenished so it need not be a problem. Both the shower room and bathroom are well heated with central heated radiators and towel rails which also have a "Summer" heating facility. We are not sure why the guests seemed to have a problem here. The only point we cannot really do much about is the removal of the rubbish. Unfortunately we do ask guests to take away with them any rubbish left as otherwise the housekeeper usually has to make a 30 mile round trip to the nearest recycling centre, the far side of Bodmin or Bude. Tregoodwell Cottage is an excellent location for many things but not recycling centres!
