Andy Murray through to Wimbledon semi-final - demand for tickets soars
Wimbledon tickets are being sold for up to £20,000 each following Andy Murray's victory in yesterday's quarter-final. Murray defeated Spain's Juan Carlos Ferrero, leading to increased demand for tickets.
Following Murray's victory, tennis fans are desperately trying to get hold of Wimbledon tickets online. One seller was last night offering four tickets at what The Times describes as an "astonishing" £20,000 a piece.
Fans have been queueing outside Wimbledon for two days to buy tickets for the men's semi-final, in which Murray will play
America's Andy Roddick. Demand for tickets is reported to have quadrupled and prices are higher than ever - a pair of tickets for yesterday's quarter-final, worth £170, sold for £6,100.
If Murray defeats Roddick in tomorrow's semi-final, a "mouthwatering clash" with Roger Federer in the final will result. The

Scottish player beats Federer, he will be the first British man to win Wimbledon in 73 years.
