'Holiski' multi-resort ski pass launched in French Alps
A new multi-resort ski pass has been introduced for skiers in the French Alps. The "a la carte" Holiski pass gives users direct access to the ski slopes, charging them the following month, without having to queue and pay for a conventional pass.
The Holiski ski pass covers 10 ski resorts in the
French Alps and debits users the following month for only the days they actually ski. According to its creators La Compagnie des Alpes Domaines Skiables,
Holiski is "an up-to-the-minute product taking its inspiration from current consumer trends (the 'truly and freely consumed' idea) and fully matching the expectations of numerous skiers".
The
multi-resort ski pass is aimed at all types of skiers, but the typical 'Holiskier' is "a lover of skiing on a grand scale and one who wishes to do so in complete freedom on the large ski resorts of the
Alps". The Holiski costs a fixed yearly fee of €32 and then a variable monthly rate depending upon the days "consumed" on the slopes, rather than queuing at cash desks beforehand.
The Holiski pass is valid in
Val d'Isere (Espace Killy),
Meribel Alpina,
Les Menuires, Paradiski and its massifs (
Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry, La Plagne),
Serre Chevalier, le Grand Massif and
Tignes (Espace Killy). The pass can be purchased via holiski.com.
