X Factor's Cheryl Cole & Dannii Minogue mentor hopefuls abroad
Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue have chosen their X Factor 'homes'. The judges are mentoring the contestants they feel have the potential to go far in the show.
Six male contestants have joined Cheryl Cole in
Marrakech, according to The Daily Telegraph. Pop star Will Young, a previous winner of Pop Idol, is also helping the group in
Morocco.
Meanwhile, Dannii Minogue is mentoring six female X Factor hopefuls in
Dubai. Dannii's sister Kylie also flew in to assist with preparing the contestants for the show.
The group's arrival in Dubai was not without incident. The Daily Mail reports that the accompanying camera crew was held at the emirate's airport for two hours. Airport security staff suspected they could be planning on making a negative film about Dubai or filming a "raunchy pop video".
The crew was finally released after documents were provided that proved they were part of the X Factor. The female finalists were not held and were taken straight to join Dannii.
