Rachel Stevens taking 'staycation' honeymoon with Alex Bourne
Rachel Stevens and new husband Alex Bourne are having their honeymoon in the UK. The couple, who married on Sunday, are still in London.
Stevens, who took part in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing programme, and Bourne have not yet jetted off to sunnier climes, prompting The Daily Mirror to think they may be enjoying a
London honeymoon. Described as a "thrifty pair", the newlyweds were seen using a two-for-one pizza offer at an Italian restaurant.
It is thought that they will take their honeymoon somewhere more exotic eventually. However, referring to the recent rain, Stevens joked: "Why do we need to go abroad when the weather's like this?" They were also spotted at a local dry cleaners.
Explaining the pair's decision to stay in London, a friend told the paper: "They're just a very down to earth, ordinary couple and not at all into that showbizzy thing."
