Michelle Obama, Sasha and Malia take secret London trip
Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia have taken an unofficial tour of London. Barack Obama's wife and children saw a musical and ate fish and chips during their two day trip to the capital.
Barack Obama flew back to Washington while Michelle, Sasha and Malia joined other travellers on
London breaks, according to The Daily Telegraph. The trio's first point of call is believed to have been Westminster Abbey on Monday, which was closed to other visitors while they received a private tour. However, those already inside were allowed to stay.
A visit to Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament was also squeezed in, after which they enjoyed a fish and chip supper at The Audley in Mayfair, "an upmarket version of the traditional London pub". On Tuesday night the family went to see The Lion King musical at the Lyceum Theatre.
According to The Guardian, the female members of the Obama family arrived at Stansted in a US air force jet. They were then escorted to London by secret service agents.
