Live alligator found on train

A live alligator was discovered by customs officials on a train from Sweden to Norway. The alligator belonged to a student who had bought it in Poland.
The 75cm reptile was in the student's baggage, according to The Daily Mail. The alligator was discovered when customs officials carried out a routine search of the train as it crossed the border from
Sweden to
Norway.
The 22 year old claimed that the alligator was his pet while studying in
Poland. He said he just wanted to bring it home to Norway.
The animal was placed in a tube and had its own ventilation. It has now been handed over to veterinary authorities.
