Holiday romance the world over
Holiday romance the world over

A number of holiday hotspots have been recommended to travellers looking for a bit of holiday romance. Hot foot it to Miami or get loved up in London - the world's your (aphrodisiac) oyster.
A number of experts told The Observer what they think are the best locations for some holiday romance, spanning the globe from
Australia to some home-grown fun in
England.
- Miami. The Florida hotspot was singled out for females looking for some fun in the sun. "The guys are more open and friendly" and are not alcohol fuelled, one expert said.
- Stockholm. Most of the women speak English and combine this with Scandinavian beauty, Stockholm is a good option for men. All-night parties are also not unheard of.
- New York. The Big Apple is one of the best places for meeting men, says another expert. There are popular singles spots and events which are widely publicised.
- Rome. "It's almost impossible to spend more than a few minutes sitting on the Spanish Steps without meeting someone," says one relationship expert.
- Brisbane. The bars are open all night and the beaches are busy by day, meaning there's round the clock opportunity!
- London. With a bit of sunshine Soho is transformed into a giant catwalk and the cafes and bars are intimate while some restaurants have communal tables where you can get chatting.
