Grand Prix stars enjoy Menorca

Menorca appears to be the favourite destination for the drivers of Formula 1 as they enjoy the resort's stunning beaches and sunshine.

The McLaren team, including young British star Lewis Hamilton, accepted the invitation of shareholder Mansour Ojjeh to spend a few days relaxing in the popular holiday hotspot – although the press have already picked up on the absence of fellow team mate Fernando Alonso.

Staying on Mr Ojjeh's multi-million pound yacht may not be the option for many British holidaymakers but Menorca does offer a wide range of accommodation and rental homes aimed at most budgets.

Menorca offers tourists spectacular views of the warm Mediterranean and adventure fans can indulge in numerous sporting activities including jet skiing, windsurfing and body boarding.

The growing number of cheap flights from across the UK is also helping to ensure that access to the region is even easier and Menorca is ideal for a winter sun destination.
