Giant Wii boxing recommended as jet-lag cure in New York

A new jet-lag cure is hitting the US; a hi-tech workout using a giant Wii gaming system is being offered at gyms in New York.
The Wii jet-lag cure is being offered at New York's Gravity gym, and involves interacting with the Wii, projected on to the wall of a racquetball court, reports Rob Ryan in The Sunday Times. Ryan explains that exercise is one of the best ways to adjust his body to time difference, and this is a work-out with a difference.
Visitors, including those travelling to
short-term rental accommodation in New York, can take advantage of the Wii jet-lag cure, but they are made to warm up before interaction with the system begins. Participants fight against life size opponents in Wii boxing and have far more room to manoeuvre than the regular living room. The workout begins with an easy opponent, working up to tougher competition, mixed with real-time exercises.
Gravity has one of the very few projector Wiis in existence. The projector Wii has been "beefed up" by Nintendo and offers faster response times, and should really "blow away those cobwebs" after a long plane journey.
