Virgin launches seat sale

Anyone who fancies jetting off in style will be able to do so for less, with Virgin Atlantic announcing an Upper Class seat sale.

Phil Dickson, sales and marketing director for the airline, announced that people will have until June 24th to purchase the discounted luxury tickets.

He said: "The Upper Class passenger journey is better than ever. With our new Upper Class Wing at Heathrow, passengers are getting through to our award winning Clubhouse quicker than ever, giving them time to relax before their flight."

This, combined with the reduced fares, makes the opportunity "too good to turn down", he added.

Virgin's offer applies to services leaving before the end of the year and flying to selected destinations in countries including India, Nigeria and the USA.

Last week, it was announced that Virgin Atlantic is the most comfortable airline to travel with.

A survey by TripAdvisor found that passengers ranked the UK-based provider top for in-flight amenities such as seating, entertainment and food.
