Flying fearlessly with Virgin Atlantic
Flying fearlessly with Virgin Atlantic

Nervous flyers have a new resource at hand; following the success of its Flying Without Fear course, Virgin Atlantic has brought out a book to help travellers conquer their fear of flying.
'Flying Without Fear: 101 Fear of Flying Questions Answered' contains valuable information from a cabin crew safety advisor, top tips from aviation experts and psychological tools to help people overcome their flight-phobia. The questions posed in the book are genuine enquiries posted on the Flying Without Fear website and asked by past participants on the popular course.
Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Atlantic's president, said: "It is great news that we can offer members of the public the benefits of advice from a wonderful team of experts...with a book on how to cope with their fear. More people than ever can now reap the rewards that the course and book offer those who have a fear of flying."
The director of Flying Without Fear Limited, Richard Conway, added that many people who live abroad need their help, but because of their fear of flying, they are unable to benefit from help from the Flying Without Fear team. However, the book means that the experts will now be able to 'virtually' travel over to such customers.
Virgin Atlantic and Flying Without Fear offer one-day courses throughout the year, aimed at teaching sufferers to overcome their fear. Courses are held at
London Heathrow, Luton and Gatwick,
Edinburgh and Birmingham, as well as at seven other locations around the UK.
