Eurostar has increased its services between London and Paris. 18 services per day will leave London for Paris on Mondays to Thursdays. Weekend Eurostar services will increase to up to 20 trains from London on Fridays.

From September 8th 18 Eurostar trains will serve the London to Paris route from Monday to Thursday. Eurostar's Friday service will increase from July 11th.

Extra Eurostar trains are being added as a result of passenger demand; Eurostar is experiencing growth of more than 100 per cent in some regions to the north of London. Eurostar passengers are also attracted by the restored St Pancras international.

Eurostar's Simon Montague said: "We are delighted at the growing number of travellers from the regions and we will soon be rolling out more through fares with other UK train operators. The increase in services means we have 24,000 seats available between London and Paris on Mondays to Thursdays, and 30,000 seats on Fridays. We advise travellers to book early to get the best deals."

The extra trains mean that there will be a half-hourly service between London and Paris during the morning and evening peak hours. Throughout the rest of the day there will be an almost hourly service.
