A Continental Airlines flight made an emergency landing in Miami this morning. 26 people were injured when the aircraft hit turbulence.
The Continental Airlines jet was travelling from Rio de Janeiro to Houston, reports the BBC. It encountered problems at around 8.30am GMT. A total of 168 people were on board the flight.
Four people were seriously injured and a further 22 suffered minor injuries. As a result of the situation, the plane was diverted to Miami and made an emergency landing at 9.30GMT.
