BA launches direct Heathrow - Las Vegas service

British Airways (BA) has launched new flights from London Heathrow to Las Vegas. The direct service will take to the skies in October and comes as BA launches a complimentary transfer service.
British holidaymakers wanting to take a
holiday to Vegas will have a new travel option from October 25. Tickets for BA's new service went on sale yesterday, bringing the number of destinations in the
US served by the airline to 19.
Announcing the daily service, BA's Richard Tams said: "Despite the difficult global economic conditions, Las Vegas represents new business and growth opportunities for BA as we continue our commitment to invest in our customers." Referring to the city's reputation as a
gambling Mecca, Tams quipped: "We know how to fly high rollers in style...It is the ace in our pack and we are going to play it for all it's worth."
Passengers travelling First and Club World Class on the flight will be able to take advantage of BA's new
complimentary transfer service to Heathrow. The airline will provide black cabs and executive cars for its premium customers travelling from the airline. Qualifying passengers will need to be within 100 miles of Heathrow to take advantage of the service.
