The USA East Coast is a diverse part of the States, but from the sophistication of New York and the vibrancy of Manhattan to the fun packed sunshine of Florida, there is a holiday vacation here for everyone.
New York is one of the greatest cities in the world, with culture and art scene that is second to none. The city’s landmarks and its famous skyline are recognised throughout the world. Further up the coast New England’s capital Boston is rich in history, from the Freedom Trail to the many museums devoted to its colonial past. New England and Maine have many attractions, from skiing in Vermont to holidaying in Cape Cod.
The US Capital Washington DC exists in its own state, a purpose built city to house the apparatus of government. Here you’ll find monuments to the American constitution – the Capitol, the Washington Monument and of course the White House itself.
South Carolina is famed for its beach resorts such as Myrtle Beach and Florida or the ‘sunshine state’ has been a popular holiday resort for more than a century.
