It is said that Ireland, once visited, is never forgotten. However, as the wettest places are often the most beautiful it is worth packing a raincoat just so you can experience the delights of places like County Kerry, which receives a staggering 270 rainy days per year! The abundance of rain also provides the perfect excuse to while away afternoons drinking Guinness in the famous pubs of Dublin – and listening to the wealth of stories that Ireland has to tell.
