England is a country of great beauty and serenity made up of diverse landscapes and bustling cities. Destinations vary from the cobbled street and quaint villages of Dorset, the white washed cottages and fishing hamlets of Cornwall, the lush green peaks and valleys of the Lake District and the unrivalled hustle, bustle and culture of London.

England has more than its fair share of heritage and historical sites, from Stonehenge to Blenheim palace, and every town has its treasures – with Shakespeare’s birthplace of Stratford-on-Avon being only the most famous example. The North of England is not to be overlooked too – with the magnificent Yorkshire Moors hiding medieval cities like York and vibrant modern centres such as Leeds.

The infamous weather is far from predictable; in fact despite being the nation's favourite topic of conversation, the weather is not necessarily England’s best attraction. However the abundance of activities; from surfing to mountain biking and art gallery visits to riverside walks make England, despite all the rain, everyone’s cup of tea all year round!
