Development boosting Valencia property market
Development boosting Valencia property marketThe Spanish resort of Valencia is enjoying strong popularity as it quickly develops into a major holiday destination, claims a real estate company.
Valencia Property believe that ongoing work to improve the city's infrastructure as well as the expansion of low-cost flights to the region are helping to ensure booming property values, increased rental yields and a healthy tourist industry.
Graham Hunt, spokesman for the property firm, speaking to the Telegraph, explained: "Prices have risen by 150 per cent in the past six years and they are still slowly rising, unlike Barcelona or Madrid."
He added: "It's cheap enough to get here. Ryanair and Easyjet both fly here. Ryanair is opening in Valencia as a hub in a couple of month's time."
Valencia is currently Spain's third largest city and is also developing a reputation as an upmarket resort with a new super yacht marina as well as plans to host one of the Formula One Grand Prix races next season.
