'All of Morocco' is appealing for property investors
'All of Morocco' is appealing for property investorsThe whole of the country of Morocco is an attractive location for property market investors, it has been suggested - although the reason for this varies from area to area.

According to Morocco estate agents Saffron Villas, Marrakech remains the most popular location for investment, ostensibly due to the popularity of the city among tourists.

However, the firm's managing director Paul Staines has noted that interest in Agadir is growing while the country as a whole has a lot of potential - so is consequently garnering a great deal of attention.

"It's still a growing market, quite strongly," Mr Staines detailed.

"It's come out of the real frontier level of the emerging markets. It's much more established in that respect, but it still is a very early market. It's still got a lot of growth and a lot of potential in it, but it's been going now for three years so it's not a frontier state anymore."

Research conducted by Properazzi shows more than 15 per cent of overseas investment in Morocco in 2006 can be accounted for by property investment by foreigners.
