Portugal set for revival
Portugal set for revivalThe Silver Coast of Portugal is rapidly developing into a major holiday and investment destination, according to real estate experts.

Costa de Prata has a array of stunning beaches that attract overseas holidaymakers looking for a relaxing way to spend two weeks in the sun but the area is set to enjoy even more interest, reports Assetz.

Paul Collins, overseas property editor at BuyAssociation, recently named the region as a potential hotspot for 2007 and added that it was "one of the areas to look out for" over the next twelve months.

Portugal has always been popular with British tourists and the Silver Coast offers an alternative to the more standard resorts in the Algarve. The local authorities are also keen to ensure that the area does not become overdeveloped and retains the atmosphere that is popular with visitors and locals.

The country is just over two hours flying from the UK and there are a number of airlines providing affordable tickets to travellers – making it the ideal destination for a long holiday or a shorter break.
